Classic All Surface Swingball Set, Real Tennis Ball, Championship Bats, All Surface Base with Integrated Carry Case for Transportation, For ages 6+ to Adult, Classic Outdoor Games, Red and Yellow

This seems to be a well made set. True it rocks a bit when adults play but I played with my nine year old grandson and we really enjoyed ourselves. Huge laughter because we were so bad at it. But even in the first game we improved. I think it would be excellent for real tennis practice.

This Classic All Surface Swingball set has been an absolute game-changer for keeping the kids entertained outside for hours! They absolutely love it, and it keeps them active and burning off energy. That being said, you genuinely need to tap into your inner ninja whenever you step into the garden while they are playing. The ball flies around that spiral faster than you think, and if you aren't paying attention, you will 100% take a tennis ball straight to the head! Dodging the crossfire has become a sport in itself for the adults.Aside from the survival-mode aspect, the design is brilliant. It is incredibly easy to pack down and store away. Everything fits neatly into the base, which doubles as a durable carry case, so it doesn't take up any unnecessary space in the shed or closet when the games are over. Highly recommend this for some high-energy family fun!

Swingball has long been a garden staple, conjuring images of sunny afternoons and competitive rallies. The Classic All Surface Swingball Set aims to deliver that timeless fun to any outdoor space, promising endless entertainment for players of all ages. The Swingball set arrived in its characteristic tall, branded box, which clearly illustrated the product and its features. The packaging was robust enough to protect the various components. Delivery was prompt and efficient, getting the game ready for assembly without delay. Upon unboxing, the familiar components were laid out: the robust pole, the tethered tennis ball, and the iconic all-surface base. The design is classic and instantly recognisable – simple, functional, and built for active play. The base, which can be filled with water or sand, looks stable, while the adjustable pole allows for different heights, accommodating various players. In terms of feel, the pole sections are sturdy and fit together snugly, suggesting a durable construction that can withstand enthusiastic play. The plastic base feels strong, capable of holding a substantial amount of water or sand to keep it anchored. The tennis ball itself feels like a standard, good-quality tennis ball, while the tether mechanism seems robust, designed to endure countless swings. The paddles, typically made of hard plastic, feel lightweight but solid enough for striking the ball. Setting up the Classic All Surface Swingball was straightforward, involving filling the base and assembling the pole. Once ready, it truly delivers on the promise of outdoor fun. We've used it extensively in the garden, on the patio, and even taken it to a local park in Cambridge. It provides an excellent way to get active, improve hand-eye coordination, and engage in friendly competition. The "all surface" aspect is fantastic, meaning you're not restricted to just grass. It's fantastic for both solo practice and competitive two-player games, offering a high-energy workout and plenty of laughs. However, it must be noted that the Classic All Surface Swingball Set feels a bit expensive for what it is. While the enjoyment it provides is undeniable and the design is tried and tested, the core components are relatively simple: a pole, a ball on a string, and a plastic base. When considering the price point, one might expect slightly more premium materials or additional features. Despite its effectiveness as an entertainment tool, the cost feels somewhat elevated for the basic nature of the game. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable, engaging, and universally appealing outdoor game that can be played anywhere, the Classic All Surface Swingball Set is an excellent choice. It delivers hours of active fun and works exactly as intended. Just be prepared that you might find yourself thinking it's a bit expensive for what it is, given its fundamental components.

Children love this swingball set. Good quality. Great that it all folds away for storage. Take anywhere. Easy to dry compartment, no worries about going mouldy. Highly recommend.Would buy from seller again

The grandchildren love it, enough said.

Absolutely brilliant, easy to put up and down and the rope can be lengthened or shortened for age or space. Really stable once the base is filled and gave our family fun for a number of hours.

This was for my 5 year old. Initially fantastic but a month in the pole started leaning and the plastic appeared brittle with no way off fixing this. Two months in now and it’s practically unusable.

This is my second purchase of these, its such a great fun thing to do with the kids. Keeps them entertained for a while, easy to store away and move about. Very easy to assemble and a great price. A must have in my opinion for family fun in the garden.

Fun while it works, but after just 2 months of very limited use by a 6 year old all tube connectors are already cracked.

Terrible - falls over, ball doesn’t swing. Don’t bother purchasing
