Patriot P300 M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x4 128GB Low-Power Consumption SSD

I have used these 3 times to speed up two Lenovo laptops and a Dell desktop when migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on compatible systems as they had the right drive connector available on the motherboard. This SSD made an amazing difference in system speed and responsiveness. So far very reliable.

I was a bit skeptical having read some of the reviews. The price was certainly good. I have a five year old laptop where the NVMe drive was generating errors and going out. When the SSD arrived I attempted a clone operation from the old laptop drive but it was so full of errors the clone failed. (Not the fault of the new drive.) I decided to just replace the bad drive with this new one and load Windows11 from scratch. The operation went smoothly and soon I was up an running on the new drive. No more errors! It took most of the day to load the Microsoft Window updates and get my software loaded up again. The drive works great! I would purchase again if I had the need. I can't speak to longevity but parts is parts so who knows. Update May 25; The Windows 11 event viewer reports NO drive errors. (The old bad drive was kicking out multiple drive errors.) The speed is very good and the laptop is running great. The laptop is being used everyday. Update July 1; Came home and found the laptop was showing a HD failure. The drive failed and can't be recovered. Now I'm past the return date with Amazon and my data is lost. DON'T buy this drive as you get what you pay for!

Installed easily and was recognized immediately. It’s a great low-power SSD for a boot drive or upgrading an older system. Performance is noticeably faster than a SATA SSD or HDD for boot and general use. Solid value for the price, good read speed.

I have always liked patriot memory, so a hard drive has to kick butt. My older gamer machine has 2 16 gb sticks and she is about 10yrs old and still kicking. This HD is like a brick, and I have been using for months now. Fast boot and never has a lag issues. It has handled everything I have thrown at it......plus some.

Reliable and easy to install. Good quality for the price point, so it's a great choice for PCs.

Works great with the adapter I bought it here at Amazon too used on my 2015 MBP on natural Monterey installed works flawlessly and good performance and lots of storage space and boot camp Windows 10 work perfectly also

Great little PCIe SSD that just works. I've installed mine on a Raspberry Pi 5 and it just worked, and as easy to install as any NVME/SSD. I tested the storage capacity, since I know some cheaper models like to fake the numbers, but I was able to fill it up and read a 503GB file so the storage capacity is true. It copied at 1GB/s, which seems to be the proper numbers that they claim. A little slower than others, but for the price point it's just fine.
