Sunflowers are not red
I've changed my review although the sunflowers aren't red they are beautiful and strong

Fab, growing really well, some are 10ft already with beautiful colours

Not red.
So these are not red at all, they are yellow, but one flower had a very slightl something, but not even that was really red. Now that's out of the way. I have never been able EVER to grow sunflowers, I get given plugs to plant and slugs or snails eat them immediately. I direct sowed these in the garden and forgot about them, only sowing about 6 seeds in various places. The only one that hasn't grown and flowered was one in a pot quite high up. The rest are still flowering into October, one isn't upright but we had a storm while I was away so, I will say they are the strongest sunflowers I've ever known and managed to not get eaten or die in a storm. If you can get over they are not red these are really strong plants. Will be sowing more next year and see if I can get that beautiful red.

Beautiful, sturdy, showstopping sunflowers. The 'not red' complaint is misleading. They are plants, nature has its own agenda. Enjoy them for what they are. In my garden they are 6 feet tall and glow like a fire in the sky.

Happy Sunflowers
having bad experience for buying seeds (flower, vegs) over the year with no growth or weak and dried out, awful Osmanthus powder delivery and perhaps with no refund ( Osmanthus from other seller hasn't been delivered). I over-flooded tray with soil/compost, squeezing it and pressed in Red Sunflower and Yellow Premier Seeds. Next day, they appeared in numbers. Every day they are getting up noticeably well. The stem is thin but stable so far. I booked lightning. Plus, being upset with no growth seeds I requested refund, then revoked it. But Pretty Wild Seeds has refunded it already. Now I will go on their online to buy something.
