I would like to order this in brown but white is showing as the only option. How can I order it in brown? Are there any other color choices?

How much weight will these hold? Wanting to use them attached to the wall to hold handbags.

The hands aren't attached to the bases; they just sit on the base via gravity and a slot in the base. You could maybe glue them in and then they might work like you're thinking, but they won't out of the box. Also there's a metal sawtooth picture frame hanger on the backs of the hands.

Can these be painted?

They have a light stain on them, but could easily be painted over with Acyrlic craft paint
