I bought this for cutting my glue tubs which works great. Its easy to use, light, not super heavy and seems very durable. The price point was my only gripe...a bit spendy IMO.

Super sharp, cuts perfect.

For starters, most caulk guns come with cutters built in to them. But for times when you don’t have one with the capability, it’s nice to have. To be honest, I actually like this product better anyways. It’s really easy to use and cuts the tip cleaner then the caulk guns can.

This is an amazing tool when you have lot of different caulking applications. I have used it more than 25+ times since purchasing a month ago. Great experience!!!

I really like this tool, and really appreciate the fact that it locks closed and that it offers a high degree of control on what your cut profile looks like - but truth be told there's not a lot of casual users likely to buy at this price point. IMO it should be sub-$10, particularly given that the blade is no replaceable. But if you're on a work site where you have to cut a dozen tubes a day this thing is a must-have. Tip - practice a few cuts on spent tubes, so you get a feel for what the finish cut looks like -vs- what you wanted.

For years, like most tradespeople, I’ve used a Stanley Knife or my pocketknife to cut the nozzles on my tubes of adhesives and sealants. That method worked OK, but when I was rushed for time, getting the angle of the cut just right was a problem. Not any more. With this tool, which works like the old cutter I used to use on my cigars before I quit smoking, cuts every nozzle at the perfect angle every time. Straight cuts or angle cuts. Nipples or nozzles. All it takes is two fingers with this tool. This tool’s blade, made from 401 steel, is sharp enough to cut tubing, small PVC pipe and similar tubing in an emergency. It’s compact too. Small enough to fit into my shirt or work vest pocket, where it’s close at hand and ready when I need it. I’ll confess that I love my gadgets and I love this one. Well worth the $16.99 it cost.
