Just Artifacts 16-Inch White Chinese Japanese Paper Lanterns (Set of 5, White)

These were the perfect additions to my sons blueberry themed birthday party super easy to use and so cute

I bought these to use as the head for DIY ghost Halloween decorations. I've had them outside, with the weight of a few sheets over them, for several weeks. We've had a lot of wind and rain and they are still holding up well.

These are the lightweight, almost feather-weight version of paper lanterns that are traditionally made with bamboo ribs and fibrous/washi paper. This economical version is formatted with ultra thin wire, and thin tissue paper for a non-cumbersome and inexpensive alternative.Assembly is super simple. The rectangular tension wire has corners at the bottom that rest on the lower/smaller ring opening of the lantern, and ears at the top that fit into the small rings at the larger opening/top of the lantern. It has an open ring welded to the top bar where you thread the cord of your pendant light.Be careful, these lanterns are fragile, and more than that, any wire ends poking out are ultra sharp.With or without lights in them, I think they work great for dorms, special events, children's rooms, and a variety of décor styles such as bohemian, romantic, etc. Very fun item, would love to have in various sizes.Obviously not as robust or bold as the traditional type lantern, but nice nonetheless for a simplified or temporary decorative light option. Time will tell how they will hold up over time, being dusted, and going through the humid seasons here in FL. I think - with care - they may hold up for years. I will update if anything comes up.

1 lantern out of the 2 packs I bought came damaged. Like the glue on them or something hadn't dried before they folded it up so it ripped when we tried to open and set it up. Otherwise they worked well and looked nice. Colors pretty true to the photos.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to assemble, and so cute!

These were perfect for decorating my classroom. They were very easy to assemble and then take apart to store. The wire that keeps it open does end up bending inside the lantern but this is normal.

These were very nice, but not as gold is they look in the advertisement. Plus, the paper seems painted, and you could not see the lights through them compared to the white lantern switch have a little bit of translucency to them.
