Excellent book , ideal learning tool!

Very cute book full of all kinds of facts and information, we loved it and are enjoying learning more about our homeland.

Excellent, informative book for kids to learn about Scotland's geography, legends, and history. The 5 year old loves it.

Great information, well illustrated. Great information for all ages. I'll use it for travel planning and my grandchildren can enjoy it too.

Easy read. Fun facts. Very interesting!

The fact is (according to Scotland's most recent census) that Scotland is ethnically 96% white Anglo Saxon- that is the reality. So to illustrate a book on Scotland in which half the figures are people of color (including the bagpiper, Scotland's most iconic symbol) is false, a misrepresentation. I picked up this book to teach my kids about a country as it is - not as some DEI quota wishes it to be. Clearly the authors/editors/or publisher are making up a diversity that doesn't exist in real life and thereby telling falsehoods. Makes me question what else in it has been tweaked to fit an agenda? This is nonfiction. Stick to the facts. Returning it to find a book that accurately represents Scotland and its history.
