A 1oz bottle in a single base coat can cover a good amount of surface area, however it may wear off in time. Applying multiple coats as well as using an acrylic finisher can help extend the durability of the paint. The best bet is to try out 1 bottle on your project and see if it is enough. Painted a couple coats of the leather paint on them and no one would ever know. It worked perfectly! I let them dry for a couple days before wearing them.
