L’Oreal Paris Colorista Metallic Semi Permanent Hair Color for Bleached or Blonde Hair, Color Depositing Hair Mask Formula, Metallic Orchid Purple

I've been coloring my hair unnatural colors for 20 years and I've never found a brand that last this long! Usually the roots and ends are faded after 2 or 3 washes but not this one! I've washed my hair 6 times and it has barely faded at all. The only downside is when you wash it the first few times it stains everything in your shower and also transfers really badly to your neck, pillows, combs, clothes etc so keep that in mind. I was able to get all the staining out of the shower with bleach spray. I still give it a good rating because the staying power of the color in my hair is unsurpassed.

I love this dye! I only color half my hair, and it lasts about a month before I need to redo it. The metallic shine looks amazing and fades beautifully! 💇‍♀️✨

I’ll update how it washes off, but so far so good. We loved the color we got, it didn’t stain towels as much as I’d expect after wash. But it stained the tub and tile during washing, I had to experiment with the household cleaning liquids

Color is extremely vibrant for 3-4 washes but begins to fade to light pink color if not touched up after this point. I’ve seen reviews of this leaving a green hue on hair and had major concerns about this but I personally have no experienced this on my test strip. You can see the strand not touched up in the back compared to a freshly retouched piece in the front.

So my daughter has like a medium blonde hair color and we did the turquoise blue on the tips of her hair followed the instructions. It washed out in a week. (I only wash her hair once) the rest was from being in the pool I guess. The color was darker the the box but she has medium blonde hair.I bleached the bottom half of my hair and did the metallic orchid color and it’s been in my hair for four weeks and I have wash twice every week so I’ve washed it eight times and it’s just now starting to fade slightly. The color was super vibrant. The picture is 4weeks after doing it.Update it’s been 6weeks and it’s just now starting to fade.

My friend loves how purple her hair gets and how long the color last she gets so many compliments ( she is 86 )

I get wo many compliments on this color.I've used this brand before, and it has always done well as for lasting a long time and for covering well. It is important to make sure you bleach dark hairs if you want them colored because when I don't bleach my roots, the color does not take there.It definitely will leave color on clothing and your counters/tub. I find that chlorine bleach usually removes it from the bathroom surfaces, but I make sure to put on my "paint" clothes before putting this in my hair as it is not likely to come out of fabric.

This is a great color, and product. It’s good for when you don’t want to go through a long process because you don’t want it in over-long. If you have darker hair, it obviously doesn’t show up as well, more of a purple sheen.

I used 2 to dye shoulder length, thick hair. Had a bit leftover.It will stain everything if you aren't careful. Like a bathtub, your hands, etc. more than other hair dyes. USE the gloves. Put old towel on your pillow for a few days. It will stain.

I’ve been dying my hair all colours since the 90’s and this is my least favorite dye.The good: my bleached hair is light brown, technically too dark for this dye, and it gave me a dark purple that just glows especially in sunlight. The kit comes with multiple gloves. (Which you’ll need!)The bad: difficult to apply straight out of the tube. If it had a nozzle instead of the flip cap it would be easier. They supply a brush but for an all-over application it’s nice to apply right from the bottle. This dye stains EVERYTHING, even after a shampoo. Protect your pillowcases, clothes, and even your face and hands when you sleep, even after your first shampoo. An already-washed-once stray hair fell out onto my wet bathroom counter and it left a purple mark. There are better dyes out there that will be a lot more pleasant to deal with.

The color itself is super pigmented and holds on to the hair for a long time. HOWEVER, be warned that this is very much a fusia purple. So when I've used Manic Panic purple it fades to an ash blonde/silver. This has faded to pink. So if that's what you're looking for than it's great. But if you want a true blue purple I'd pass.

This is the ONLY purple I've used that has stayed in my hair with minimal fade! The last time I used this colour it stayed vibrant and bold for a good 6-7 months until I threw another colour over it because I was bored lol. Well worth the money. Easy to apply.
