What stakes should I buy? And where can I buy them at?

I purchased 5' metal posts from Lowes for less than $4 each. If you can wait a week or two for shipping, there were some under 3 on amazon.

Is this heavy enougn to lay on top of mulch in my backyard fruit tree orchard to keep the birds, rabbits, and ground squirrels from digging it up?

I would say yes. Ive used the same roll and pieces from the roll for 6 yrs now with very little tear. Ive used it as fencing, trellis and it does great.

Which are the best poles to use for this? would these work? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/b01fazn5p6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=a2f5ztyo1060ud&psc

A pole that measures 4 feet high will work.
