Comfortable Steel Toe Protection complying with OSHA requirements.
The most comfortable steel toes boot or shoe available. If you work in the South East, this is the shoe for you. Use your standard Keen shoe Size, add 1/2 to the length and change to a wide and you are golden. I typically wear a Keen Arroyo II sized 10US. When using the same size in a steel toe, the shoe hurt my toes, and seemed short. Adding the 1/2 and changing the width to wide was the fix. Trying to get a steel toed boot (job requirement) left me limping, this is a game changer. One additional note: this shoe has a lacing system that allows amputees to easily secure/tie the shoe. I'm missing a hand and hate trying to tie shoes, this Keen shoe alleviates this. If you need steel toe protection and want to be comfortable without blisters, get the KEEN Utility Mens Atlanta Cool Low Height Breathable Steel Toe in a wide version and add 1/2 to your typical Keen shoe.

Shoes are important.
I'm a landscaper, i use to get really cheap 20 dollar Walmart shoes, blow through them in about 2 months completely unusable and replace. About 3 years ago I decided to try some keens even though they cost 3 times what wallmart shoes do. Well guess what? They last a full year or longer so I'm actually saving tons of money buying these, they have the durability of boots but the freedom of sneakers. Now don't get me wrong, there are times I will still wear boots depending on the job, but 90% of the time these are my go to. They may seem a little hard at first before you break them in, but 100% more confterble then boots after a few days. I walk a lot on uneven/rough terrain which is why normal shoes fall apart very quickly, these keens also have great grip on roofs (for those that go up there to clean gutters with a leaf blower on steep roofs). As I mentioned before these are worth the price, they also provide near boots quality resistance to dropping things on your feet, ever stubbed your toe because you are paying more attention to your work then how you walk? Well you won't feel a thing with these. Another important thing, your feet won't be sore at the end of the day like when you wear boots, if you have a labor intensive job I can't reccomend these enough, some may complain they are heavy, those people aren't using them for work, they are most likely only using them for hiking while they have desk jobs. Landscapers and construction workers who are used to actually moving for a living will not be bothered by their weight, trust me.
