5 stars! Great value great product!
We have been using this rowing machine about two weeks now and here are our impressions. First its easy to assemble and easy to use. It is extremely quiet just as advertised. It folds up and has rollers on the front so when you tilt it slightly it is easy to move to sore it. We are little older so the low profile makes it a little harder to mount. We elected to put it on a base to raise it up a bit so problem is solved. I'm sure there are higher tech machines out there with more features but you spend twice or three times the price. If you are looking for a great way to get some exercise and not competitive rower this is a great choice. We have it set up in a spare bedroom and put a outdoor rowing YouTube video on have a great time.

great quality
We really like this rowing machine, it was easy to assemble and easy to use. It's not a sophisticated device. If you are looking for something complicated and sophisticated this may not be suitable for you but for my family it's a great way of working out and it has zero to 16 degrees of difficulty. I have used the ones in the gym and the higher levels were quite challenging but even number 16 for this one is doable. It's not easy to move so it's better to be sure where to set it up

Knocking and strap getting stuck FIXED
Knocking and issues with strap not going back in FIXED. I've seen a lot of people having the same issue I had. Got it all put together and it was not bad at all, everything went smooth except one of the large screws/posts I had to use a rubber mallet to get it to go in. Once together I hopped on and gave it a pull, insane knocking and then the strap didn't go back in unless I shook it and kept yanking it. I decided to take the front part(it comes put together) apart and start trying to find the problem. If sitting on the rower, the left side of the wheel and strap mechanism has a few screws and they were rubbing the inside of the welded together mount. It must have taken a blow or two during shipment because there are multiple washers in that area on both sides of the mechanism... The inside washer was knocked inside the left wheel. Hubby used a wrench to maneuver all washers on both sides of the machine mechanism and while I held it in place he put everything back together and we got the casing on and screwed back together and it works perfectly. It's indeed very quiet once that problem is fixed. I wanted to post pics but I'm not giving amazon access to my pictures and storage just to post one picture. I feel bad seeing so many people say it's useless to them now after spending the money so I hope this helps some of you!! I wouldn't say don't buy this because now that it's working as intended, I love it. But if I had $1500 to spend I would have gone for something better. It took us three hours total to put together and fix the issue. Original put together took me, at 6 months pregnant, less than an hour and a half and I was watching a movie while doing it. Idk if there's a way for anyone to message me but if you want pics or more help on how to fix the issue, feel free. Or try to find me on FB and I can try to help if you had the same problem as me.

Good Value
I had some difficulty putting this together because some of the parts were numbered wrong. But it wasn't too hard to figure out. This rowing machine is perfect for people who are just getting into fitness or looking for an affordable piece of equipment. It feels sturdy and durable. It's quiet too. I rowed for 20 mins my first workout and I was really happy with the experience. Everything just felt smooth. When I was first looking for a rowing machine, I was going to buy a 400 dollar one. I'm really glad I went with this one though. The only thing I really don't like is the LCD screen for the workout data. It's pretty low tech but again this is a cheaper option. Rowing is a full body cardio workout with zero impact, perfect for people with lower back or knee problems. I recommend rowing for people who are older or very overweight specifically, because they can get a good cardio workout without putting a lot of stress on the joints. Just keep in mind that this machine has a weight limit. I would recommend this thing to anyone!

Quiet to use. Easy set up. I watch scenic videos for a virtual actual workout
I am so pleased with this machine. I have wanted one for years and I am not disappointed with this one. It is relatively quiet, the seat sliding back and forth is the loudest part on it. I am 5’ 6” and it is a good fit for me. I often use it while watching baseball games on TV. If I am using it when I am not watching something, I bring up YouTube and there are plenty of scenic videos and videos from a canoe, or kayak, or stand up paddle board (SUP). Some videos even have a clock in the bottom corner of the screen that shows how long you have been rowing. I really like the videos as I row. I use my Apple Watch on indoor rowing. I set it for 15 or 30 minutes and it reads out to me when I get half-way and when I am done. Set-up was not too difficult. I just took it in the sections and steps set out in the book. The parts you need to use are labeled on the part they are packed on. It has the tools, although I did use my own socket wrench for part of it. I definitely recommend this product.

Cheap for beginners
You get what you pay for, I guess. Putting it together would have been easier if: 1. The paint hadn't flaked off the bottom, revealing rusty metal underneath. 2. The connection from the seat to the panel, which counts reps and distance, was broken. We tried to fix the connection by rewiring it. The connection worked for 2 days, and now it registers nothing. But I'm a positive person, so--at least we can still change the resistance. I can just use my phone for a timer or not count at all. Maybe I'll work out more while watching Murder, She Wrote or Psych, which is better than the news or remodeling shows they keep showing at the gym. Those definitely make me count the minutes. The seat isn't very comfortable, but it's not bad. It slides easily. Maybe I'll put a towel on it for padding, see if that makes a difference. It's mostly my lower back that protests. The pedals are a little far apart for a short person, but it forces me to keep my knees from leaning toward each other and ruining my form. Overall, it's a good product for a beginner. I have POTS, so I just wanted something to help with cardio to go along with my other physical therapy that keeps my symptoms at bay. My cardiologist said I had to have equipment where I can sit down so I don't have so far to fall if I pass out. It was this or a Peloton, and I'm not shelling out $2500 for a stationary bike. If I had that much money laying around, I'd go on vacation. If you're serious about rowing, you're going to want to look elsewhere.

Not quite as advertised
The ad said there was major cosmetic damage. Cosmetic to me is not the whole casing cracked, broken and out of place. If the majority of the plastic case wasn't cracked and caved in I would be thrilled with the purchase..... I have now used it last night and this morning, and have decided that I am thrilled with the purchase. I went in with a screwdriver and loosened the plastic casing where the damage was; moved it back in place; secured with duct tape and almost as good as new. No gaps, everything fits and works perfectly for about half the price of a "perfect" one. What I really like is that it doesn't hurt my lower back to use it, and I think I can target my abs...which is why I bought it in the first place. I would highly recommend this product. Just don't park the delivery truck on top of it.

Great Machine - App is so-so
Machine works great. I’ve been using it for several months now, and feel I’m getting a really good work out every time. The app, however is one of the more complicated ones. And on top of that I keep getting a “server is busy, please try again later” message. So I’ve decided to not use the app. If you want to keep track of your workouts the app is iffy.

Buen producto

Works well for general fitness
Happy with my purchase. Would be a five star if you could change the distance from Miles to Kilometers.
