SkagenMen's Ancher Stainless Steel and Mesh Quartz Watch

I love this watch. I have had this watch for over a year and I practically wore it every day. There was about a month or two where I wore a Fitbit instead but that is about the only time besides sleeping that I didn't have it on my wrist.First, it is flat. Easily sneaks between my cuffs on dress cloths or sweaters that have elastic bands at the end. I can't imagine have anything on my wrists that are raised up and snags on my clothing.The watch band has kept it's color and it's buffed out in any particular areas like my previous watch band. It still has it's sharp silver shine on the inside and out. Also, no scratches! I'm not particularly cautious with my watch, I don't believe I need to adjust my lifestyle or actions because I am afraid of damaging it. I live life and I break it then I will deal with it. But with that attitude in mind, I still have no damage to this watch.It may be subjective but my favorite parts of this watch or the lack of numbers on the clock face. Each hour is represented identically with a straight line. People ask how I can tell time without the numbers and it kind of concerns me that people haven't memorized what a clock face looks like. The second favorite part is the calendar date (this time with numerical values!). Way easier to check my watch when writing checks, signing documents, etc. than pulling out my phone.Only complaint is the crown has no grip to it and is very hard to adjust. I'm always afraid of breaking crowns by pulling them out too far or bending them in my attempt to pinch and twist.

I bought this a few months ago and have worn it every day since. I used to have a smartwatch, but the charger broke and it is a brand specific charger that is unable to be replaced.I liked the minimal style of this and in person it looks just as good. It's probably a medium sized face. But it's very thin. It took a while to try used to where the knob on the side is but it's not that big a deal. The style can be worn with button up shirts or t-shirts and jeans, it's a "timeless" looking watch. I was looking for a Scandinavian style minimalist watch; the other ones I looked at were 4x the price and probably would be too fancy for casual use.In other watches I've had like this the "leather" band always gets smelly and falls apart. This one shows no signs of wear and no smell. I do NOT let it get in the shower or work out with it on. I try not to even do the dishes with it on as I'd rather buy a new watch than to through the band replacement process.It is super easy to read as well. I set it once months ago and it's still accurate. My only complaint is that it is not a smartwatch, but smartwatches have their cons.

Now two years old.Changing time with the knob is almost impossible.Gluing was poor; where it said Denmark before it now says Denm rChanging the battery? No local jeweler is willing to touch this watch; they say it breaks too easily, so there is no choice but to send it off for weeks and pay $30 or so. That's almost half the price of the new watch.Looks graceful. It's going to cost you in the end.

I love this watch. It's just the right size and it's easy to read the time, and easy enough to read the date. I love the profile of the watch. So much better than the enormous hunks of metal that most places try to sell as a wristwatch. I do wish that it had an "Indiglo" light feature. And I also wish that I could find a watch like this with a different sort of strap. The way it's made means that to change the strap, I'd have to buy one specially made for this watch, rather than using the nylon straps I've collected over the years for other watches.Overall, it's as good as it looks online. It won't be my last watch, but I'll wear it till I find the absolute perfect one!

Solid not flashy watch. Easy to read, as the hour, minute and second hands have good contrast to the face and the numerals are clear as a bell. Seems to keep good time, which is after all what a watch is for. Note however, that, the leather band is neither as dark or red as it looks in the photo at least not to me. For those familiar with Munsell color notation, the photo band looks close to strong brown (7.5YR 4/6) while in person it seems closer to yellowish brown (10YR 5/6) or even brownish yellow (10YR 6/6), nothing worth deducting a full star over.Update 24 August 2017: I have t eat my words, fortunately, they are not too bad with a little hot sauce. I wore my watch to work today, and because I have a Munsell soil color chart, I compared the band to the 10YR and 7.5 YR pages, and to my surprise the color came out almost exactly strong brown (7.5YR 4/6) more or less as it looks in the photo. Now, where's that hot sauce?

It was a gift for myself

After only two days of owning and waring this watch, I'm so unbelievably impressed. Firstly, it's probably the best watch that you can possibly get for right around $100. I have purchased other brands for around this price point and they are garbage quality. Cheap movements, bad clasps, and low-grade materials. This, on the other hand (pun intended), looks and feels like a much more expensive watch than the price tag would indicate. The weight is enough that it doesn't feel plastic, but also not so heavy that you are constantly aware it's on your wrist. My favorite aspect is how clean and sleek the face looks. Very easily readable, yet still super classy. And I cannot believe how thin the entire watch is! Oh, and adjusting the clasp mechanism to fit my wrist size was extremely easy. My only small complaint thus far is that the crown does stick out pretty far and kind of jams into the back of my hand when I bend my wrist backwards. Maybe something for them to consider redesigning in the future. tl;dr this watch is incredible...go buy one!

Watch was a birthday gift and when opened the second hand wasn't moving. The battery was dead. I had to drive 30 kilometers to the nearest repair shop and pay $15 for a new battery. A good recommendation for buying locally. When you get your watch at a store you can see if it is working.

Excelente reloj. Se siente muy bien en la muñeca, no pesa demasiado y su tamaño es discreto. Justo lo que buscaba, un reloj serio y elegante, pero no demasiado llamativo. Las correas son de cuero, con una gran sensación al tacto, su color me agradó bastante.Por sus colores y materiales puede usarse tanto con ropa casual o de vestir. Sin duda un buen reloj para toda ocasión. Lo compré promoción a un costo de $1351 MX, sin duda lo volvería comprar aunque fuera un poco más caro
