wanted a heavy-duty pocket knife for EDCand chores, and this knife is perfect
Tanto blade, 4.6mm thick, and durable 440C steel...these were the main items I was looking for. Frame lock and G-10 scale were also appreciated. After 45 days of use (cutting boxes and trimming some reachable tree growth (tree suckers), removing bark from a couple of walking sticks I'm making, and even prying open a wooden crate (no fear of breaking this thick Tanto tip), I can highly recommend this knife. Knife arrived sharp, and a couple of minute with a diamond hone made it VERY sharp. Big, hefty, strong...a great daily-use knife!

Heavy duty feel
I bought this as a gift and now thinking of purchasing one for myself. This knife is awesome...The first thing you notice is the weight of this knife, has a heavy duty feel and look too it. Very sharp with locking blade, clip, as well as carrying case. I will update this review after I purchase myself one , it's a deal considering the price and hoping it's as tough as it looks.

You have to use two hands to open it, and I hate that.
This thing is a behemoth of a knife. It is so thick and so heavy and so over the top with size and sturdiness that I can't imagine using it for anything other than heavy-duty stuff. This is not an everyday carry sort of knife. This is a knife that you put in a hunting kit or something. You keep it in your motor home for when you really need a heavy-duty knife. The thing that I don't like about it is you have to use two hands to open it. There's no way to use a thumb flick or a wrist flick or anything like that. You have to use two hands. I think that's kind of ridiculous. In this day and age, every folding knife should have a way to open it one-handed. If I wanted to use two hands, I would just... well, I wouldn't ever want to use two hands. There's no reason for me to ever have to open a knife with two hands... or at least there shouldn't be. With this knife, you absolutely have to use two hands. Having said that, there's not much else negative I can say about it. It's a serious beast of a knife, and it's impressive on every level, but it's a bit much. It's a bit too much to carry it every day, and it's a bit too much to make it a regular rotation. So many different aspects of knife usage require so many different types of knives, and this absolutely has a special place and a special job. As far as an EDC, it's just too much without the ease of being able to open it with one hand. If I was able to open it one-handed, then it probably would be much more likely to be in my daily rotation. As it is now, it's maybe a once-a-year type rotation.

STURDY & VERY SHARP!
VERY STURDY. Extremely sharp out of the box. Locks up perfectly, blade is perfectly straight with zero wobble when deployed. Very heavy and intimidating. Price is unreal for such an attractive and well made knife. Kudos to AUBEY. 👍👍

Decent purchase
Good quality, sharp out the box, fits discreetly in pocket, good price (I got 2 so if one breaks), it’s mighty chunky & I would suggest a thumb knob to flip it open easier but I make due. Good buy

Sturdy - if a single word could sum it up.
Wow. I'm not a knife begginer. I have years of use behind me. This knife is a knock off of the one I really wish I could afford. But it's a beast. Having said that, I say this. It's worth every penny. The edge on it is great. I was shaving arm hair for fun. I put a drop of CLP gun lube on either side. It has a smooth open. The handle is steel on the lock side and G10 on the smooth side. At this price point, it is, a great buy

Unbeatable knife
I have just received one and want to buy the second. It is a first aid, multifunctional tool: knife, axe, shovel, breaching tool, screwdriver, excellent penetrator, self- defence item, glass breaker, and anything you can imagine... I have small hands and the handle is perfect. Not for big- handed. I don't like to use gloves, because you do not feel the knife and can easily drop it, or even get injured. The teeth on the back make it superior control for different handling. You can change handling from straight to opposite easily. The balance is perfect for cutting, tanto point is perfect for penetration, thickness of blade is hammer hardened. Bravo to manufacturer for price/quality ratio. The similar knife Praetorian costs ~2100 €, and this one is unbelievable!!!
