This tool worked perfectly for our crafting project! My girlfriend bought another set that did not work as good as this one. Heavy duty clippers and easy to use, did not hurt to cut the tiles. Even when cutting little pieces it was a breeze. I would recommend these tools if you are working with tile, dishes for crafting. I am not sure about glass as we did not use glass tiles.

These tile nippers are a solid tool to have for DIY projects. If you are starting out in mosaics, these are must-have tools. The handles are comfortable and they are easy to use. There were no instructions included but you put the curved part of the nippers in the center (if you are right handed, the curved part will be on the left) then place the nippers on the edge of the tile and it will snap with little effort. The wheeled nippers allow for more precise cuts and again, the wheels need to be on the center when cutting. The wheels are fixed but can be rotated as they get dull by using a hex Allen wrench which should have been included but was not. You MUST use safety glasses no matter what material you are cutting because tiny shards and chips can fly off. These are nice tools that seem to be well-made and should last a while.

I am a union tile setter with nearly 15 years in the trade. When I need a good tool the same day, I usually go to Floor & Decor where you can get a stainless notched trowel that sells for $25+ at Home Deep for $12.99. Its a no brainier especially when the $25 tool isn't even stainless steel.Those $12 stainless trowels I use? They are made by Goldblatt, and they hold their own against any other hand tool I've used. These nippers are no exception. The price simply cannot be beat, and with Amazon Prime next day delivery the convenience is unparalleled.This set of nippers is specifically for glass tile, although they would work fine for ceramic or even porcelain. Now if you happen to find yourself working with glass tiles, like I was here while remodeling this spa, you really must be careful because that glass is sharp, and it will nip you back.If you need a tool for a tile project, I'd get a Goldblatt and be done with that... and then take the money you saved and treat yourself to a nice steak dinner.

These seem to be very good quality. I’ve used other kinds which were not as easy to use. I also like the locking feature.
