ADDED REVIEW After reading some of the reviews concerning the subject of Erythritol being added to Garden of Life Grass Fed Whey powder I decided to do some online research concerning this matter. Since I'm not a doctor I can only give my opinion on this subject. Here is a brief review of what I have uncovered. Erythritol is popular sugar alcohol sweetener as is also Xylitol. The upside of these two sweeteners is that they contain almost no calories. The downsides seem to range from mild to extremely dangerous according to some unsubstantiated reports. There was a study done on Erythritol in particular that "showed" that this alcohol sugar could potentially cause blood clotting, strokes and even heart attacks. However, having looked at all sides of this issue I have concluded that this study was extremely flawed. Doctor Eric Berg has stated that there are no negative side effects of Erythritol whatsoever when consumed in moderate quantities and I highly respect his evaluation. As for now I'm staying with Garden of Life Grass Fed Whey and consider it safe to consume. If, however, I have reason to believe otherwise in the future I will switch to another whey product. As far as changes in the quality of this product compared to the old formula I have no opinion since I have only experienced the newer version. I've been on a search for the best protein powder and it's been a difficult journey with how many are out there. However, I must say, this is one of my top 5 so far. Highlights: - NSF certified - Protein content (4/5) - 24g is lower than many on the market for 1 scoop - Texture (5/5) - better than most others and seems to mix well - Taste (5/5) - one of the better ones I've tasted; genuinely tastes like chocolate milk - Pricepoint (5/5) - definitely one of the more affordable options that is NSF certified Lowlights: - I still prefer a protein powder to have no natural or artificial sweeteners and this still misses the mark; but if you're okay with stevia, I think this is a great protein powder. For me, I want something with only sugar. - Lower protein content than most at 24g; most others seem to be 28g + Overall, I'm happy with the protein powder. It tastes great, has good texture, is affordable, and is NSF certified.

This is way too sweet! its sweetened with stevia so no sugar spikes. If its heavily diluted it does tastes like chocolate milk. And still delivers the protein needed. And protein makes it way easier to keep weight off.

Best protein powder out here by far! Been using it for the past 6 months pre workouts and after and never felt better! Chocolate tastes great and doesn't upset my stomach at all. Mixes well with warm water the best FYI and I add Creatine and Collagen no problems. Sport is the best one out here for sure. Kinda pricey but worth it.

This is a good whey protein powder. It doesn't cause me abdominal pain as some other whey products do. However, the mix with water is objectionably sweet. The sugar substitutes are really sweet - for me it causes an awful after-taste. For most products, I always prefer sugar. But, I think this Garden of Life product is the best protein powder that I have tried.

Tastes great, mixes well. I changed from another brand to Garden Life because I wanted higher protein content, 24g vs 20g with my previous brand and also wanted NSF rating. I got the NSF rating but it turns out the extra 4g of protein are just netted from a bigger scoop, there really isn't more protein per oz of product. Also, why don't you put it in a smaller container and reduce the price. I realize you claim settling but the the container is only 70% full when new.

This is a very solid purchase because it has everything I was looking for. Non-GMO and grass-fed, which is quite impressive! Gluten-free too, perfect for those who are sensitive to it. Supports immune system - very important these days. The chocolate flavor is just right, not too overpowering. And the high protein content is perfect for my workout regime. In a nutshell, a fantastic choice for anyone focused on their health and fitness!
