Essential accessory for Breville espresso machines
This fits perfectly on the portafilter for my Breville Barista Pro machine and it is a brilliant invention that is very well executed. In order to adequately fill the Breville portafilter, one needs to grind enough beans to make it overflow and then tamp it down. This is a messy process since you are almost guaranteed to drop some of the grinds and then you may need to repeat the process to get enough in the filter. Enter the dosing funnel... It catches all the grinds and lets you tamp them down with zero overflow and mess. You get the right dose the first time with minimum hassle. This thing looks like it was designed by the engineers at Breville rather than an aftermarket accessory. It is made of a high quality, precision molded plastic that is easy to take on and off of the portafilter. Breville should seriously consider licensing this design from the inventor and including one with every machine they ship. I love that it made in the USA too!

Worth the money ??
Fantastic idea : saves spilling coffee grind, allow tramping again without spill. Sturdy and easy to install. Suggested improvement : the plastic portion used to start the process could be made larger, about the same size as that of the metal holder, as it is you have to occasionally wiggle the unit to trip the grinder switch. All in all: well worth the money !!
