WELL MADE COMPACT USB 3.1 GEN 2 HUB – NO VIDEO SUPPORT
PRODUCT VERSION REVIEWEDJUICED SYSTEMS QUADHUB POWER - USB-C GENERATION 2 10GBPS 100 WATT POWER DELIVERY HUB - 2X USB-C 10GBPS PORTS - 2X USB-A 10 GBPS PORTSQUICK REVIEW [TL;DR]WELL MADE COMPACT USB 3.1 GEN 2 HUB – NO VIDEO SUPPORTREVIEWI like the JUICED SYSTEMS QUADHUB. The JUICED SYSTEMS QUADHUB is nice and compact with a good mixture of ports. It also can provide 100 WATT power from an external source and back to the laptop to which the hub is attached. The hubs max transfer rate is 10Mbps. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also known as USB 3.1, USB 3.1 Gen 2, SuperSpeed+, SuperSpeed 10Gbps) and below devices.NOTE: The JUICED SYSTEMS QUADHUB does not support the connection of a video monitor (display port USB-C connections). In my case I don’t need the power capability to charge my laptops. My gaming laptops draw too much power to be able to use this feature, so instead I just needed a basic 4 port hub 3.1. To that end the hub works exactly as I needed. You do have to be mindful of how much power your devices are drawing in this mode to keep from drawing too much power. I had a few low power devices along with my external drive connected without issue.I was able to reach full speed (550MBps) from my external drive.MY NEEDS:• A 3.1 (10Gb) hub• Mixture of Type “A” and Type “C” ports• Did not want all the extra video and network ports on most hubsSETUP:There were not instructions included (or I lost them), but in general connect the hub to your computer via the USB-C port and cable. Connect your laptop power supply to the end of the hub labeled PD to pass power back to your laptop.NOTE: Pay attention to the which ports on your laptop are USB 3.2. I was surprised that of my 3 USB-C ports only one of them was 3.2 (10Gb) the others were 3.0 (5Gb)RECOMMENDATION:I can recommend the JUICED SYSTEMS QUADHUB as an easy way to add extra (and high speed) USB 3.1 ports to your laptop (or desktop).

Quality hub but pricey
Full disclosure: I received this product at a discount in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.I recently replaced a dedicated Thunderbolt 3 dock / port replicator on my desk with a sleek USB-C only Thunderbolt 4 hub that really improved the stability of my setup. Unfortunately, that left me with just one high-speed USB-C port to pick up the high-speed ports I lost in the transition. I could have used one of my travel docks but frankly I didn't need all of those ports on my desk setup. This is a combination USB-C/USB-A hub that is capable of 100W passthrough PD charging with 2x USB-C and 2x USB-A ports all of which support USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps data rates but not video passthrough. The hub is all-metal construction except for the plastic end-caps and heavy duty shielded 6" USB-C pigtail and is lightweight enough for travel. All ports are marked with their capabilities which is great because other than the box that's the only documentation you get. The printing on the PD input is upside-down from the printing on the side and the top which to me is quite odd given the otherwise high apparent quality of the product. The hub supports charging downstream devices on all ports but charging depends on which port you're using and whether you've attached a power adapter. With a USB-C power adapter connected the hub is capable of supplying 3A combined to attached downstream devices with one USB-A port rated at a higher charge rate of 5V/1.5A. When not connected to a power adapter downstream charging is supported but is limited by the capabilities of the host. This product is positioned as a higher-end product with fit and finish matching higher-end Apple products. For $40 (current price on Amazon) you get a competent 4-port travel hub that works well for port-limited machines like the new M1 Macbooks but at a price point that seems pricey for what is essentially a 4 port USB hub. It complements my TB4 dock and desk setup quite nicely so I found the value acceptable.ProsMatches Macbook styling2x USB-A and 2x USB-C100W USB-C PD input and passthrough for host chargingAll ports are USB 3.2 Gen2 10GbpsAll ports are clearly labeledGreat for port-limited machinesOne USB-A port supports high current chargingAll capabilities fully described on the boxConsNo documentation other than what's on the boxDetailed capabilities not represented in the product listingPD input port labeling is upside-down from the rest of the text on the hubPricey

Does not recognize port all the time.
I liked that it had a lot of options but this product overheats quickly. I can just have my mouse plugged into it and it starts cooking in under 20 minutes. Which causes my mouse tracking to not work anymore. I wanted something where I could do monitor and work on my drawing tablet but this product cannot even handle a wireless mouse plugged into it. It works at first but then stops.
