I wanted to wear these without socks as casual indoor/outdoor shoes on vacation. They held up OK but were too small and continually rubbed against the little toe on both my feet. They were too tight for socks so to solve the blistered toe problem I had to wrap my toes with elastoplast; it worked, but putting a new one on daily wasn't idea.l I was traveling very light with a lightweight backpack and a loose hand held bag so I didn't carry spare casuals, just these and a pair of light weight walking shoes I wore for travel.In short I would have been much better with a size 10 (euro 44) otherwise they were pretty good shoes that I eventually gave away and someone else got good wear out of them so 4 stars.

I normally wear a size 9.5 US, but after reading the reviews, I ordered size 10, and they fit just right. I have enough wiggle room in the front and no extra space that might cause a trip. The material of the upper shoe is a light mesh. The sole is rubber/plastic. The support is good. I have no foot problems to begin with, so if you have fallen arches or something similar, your mileage may vary. These shoes slip on and off like slippers, but have such good support and a soft sole that they can be worn outside. For the price, they are great. I just wanted an indoor slipper with more support, and these fit the bill. I have just ordered and received a second pair with black uppers. The quality of the assembly of these shoes looks fine. I found no hanging threads or excess adhesives anywhere. They did have a somewhat strong odor (plastic) when first removed from their plastic bag, that quickly faded.

Great running shoes. They fit great - the elastic bands allow some adjustability to get that perfect fit. I bought these to go jogging but so far they're so comfortable and easy to slip on that I've worn them for every-day activities and feel like I should get a separate pair just for running. Aesthetically the shoes are great too - I've gotten lots of compliments and even people thinking they were designer label shoes. (But guess what!!! I got them on amazon for less than $20!)My only complaint is that the right shoe had some fraying damage when the shoes first arrived. After a few weeks of wear the elastic band snapped, and now I have to lace the elastic together like regular shoe laces. But again, for the price point, these shoes are awesome.

Great looking shoes. My wife thought they looked awful when I first unboxed them. But once I put them on and threw my jean leg down on them her initial feeling had changed and she really liked them. They are very airy being they got them during a cold front they are almost too airy and could get pretty chilly on a brisk day. They are extremely light and intially feel very cheap. But I have been wearing them for days now and the constructions seems pretty sold. Got these for a voyage to New York where I know I'll be doing a lot of walking. Sadly, there is snow forecast for the time we will be there. So they will only come out for indoor use now. But they seem to be great for that too. I wish I had a chance to run with them but haven't had the occasion since snow followed the receivement of the shoes.Hope this helps

I wear a 10 1/2 so I bought an 11 and they are just a tad, a very small tad too long but I expected that being I ordered an 11. Only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because it's labelled as a running shoe and although they are comfortable they would not hold up very long. I was looking for a casual pair of shoes to wear around the house with jeans or lounge pants and I really like the design so I couldn't be happier with a pair of $20 shoes. They will be perfect for my needs but if you're really looking for durable running shoes I would recommend looking elsewhere.
