on toyotanation . com they told me this filter fits the the 2002 toyota sequoia limited v8 4.7l, but amazon said it doesn't . any reason why?

Toyota Forums also say this fits the 2.2 1997-2000 It does however I'm not sure about the bypass valve opening (set) I have used this on the 2.2 without any problems
