My 9 yr old daughter has super sensitive hearing and does not do well with loud sounds at all. We ha e not been able to enjoy any kind of fireworks show or even any movie that had loud soinds in them. But she was able to go to a local minor league baseball game where they set off a large fireworks display where the trailer was about 65 yds away from their seats without any issues. The box states these are for kids. I tried them on and they were painfully tight. I am an adult with a smaller than average head size, usually wearing a child's extra large.
