I'm impressed! The linen is soft yet has that lovely textured feel that real linen is known for. It’s surprisingly smooth against the skin and gets even softer after the first wash. The set includes the duvet cover and two matching pillow shams, all with excellent stitching and nice corner ties inside the duvet cover to keep the insert in place. It’s very breathable, perfect for hot sleepers like me. Even during warmer nights, I stay comfortable and don’t wake up sweaty. The color is rich and elegant taupe, and it gives my bedroom a relaxed, high-end European look.

Color is gorgeous, a nice earthy blue and fabric is thick. There is an initial odor (new) and I am washing it now but seems well made. Update: Washed/dried fine and odor gone. This is such a gorgeous and well made duvet set. I bought a sheet set as well and so happy.

The linen looks and feels great! I know the store is cautious to alert buyers that different colors may appear brighter or darker in different lights… which I guess is very true for the “off white”— which appears even more brilliantly white than my white desk.

Love this duvet cover! Keeps me warm at night, but I’m not overheating. Soft, after washing it and doesn’t wrinkle too much. Beautiful light blue color. I would recommend!

I have a really nice linen duvet cover on my bed, and I love it, so I was looking for a less expensive alternative for my guest room. I would say the quality of this is ok - the material is soft and not too thin, and the stitching, fabric, and buttons held up through a gentle wash cycle. My first complaint is the lack of more ties inside the cover to secure it to the comforter. The process of putting it on is a time consuming nightmare, and the comforter shifts around inside. My biggest complaint is the color. I ordered “white” and I received more of a pale yellow color. It’s not hideous in and of itself, but if any of your other bed linens are white, this looks kind of gross and discolored in comparison. It would have taken me far less time to return or exchange this item than it took me to get it on my comforter :(

4 month update May 2024 - this duvet set is still just as nice as when I purchased. It's softened a bit more as I've washed. I'm using 1 insert for the summer and it's kept me fairly cool. I'm purchasing a few others to have in rotation. I still highly recommend this if you're looking to swap to linen bedding. Original Review February 2024 - I was on the hunt for a good quality duvet cover, something that rivaled Pottery Barn or West Elm. After reading some of the reviews, I decided this was the set I going with and took the gamble. After a month of sleeping with it, I am impressed. It washes incredibly well, super breathable, and the color is exactly as depicted. It is linen so it DOES wrinkle a bit, nothing a steamer can't fix or just embrace the relaxed look as intended. I plan on purchasing a few others to rotate between. I used the Amazon basics light down alternative quilt (use 2 if you like the look of an extra fluffy bed). This is a great set and excellent quality. Do note if you are used to jersey cotton type of softness this will feel "scratchy" to you, washing does soften it up over time.

When I bought this duvet, I was super excited. I felt it when it came in, and it is so scratchy and uncomfortable against your skin. It was also falsely advertised as 100% Washed Linen right in the title. It’s not.. it’s a 55% linen + 45% cotton blend. They at least seem to have changed some of the information since then to reflect that, but it’s still wildly inconsistent and says 100% linen some places while it saying it’s a blend in others. I have linen shams from another company that are 100% linen, and they are super soft and lovely. This is in no way comparable. We unfortunately got stuck with it, because the return window ran out when I had to leave town unexpectedly. I’ve tried to soften the fabric by washing with vinegar as someone said that can soften linen. Months later, it is still scratchy and terrible to the point where I can’t sleep with it touching me, so I’m back to square one with no duvet cover. Do not recommend. It was a total waste of money. I am not usually this harsh, and it was on the lower priced end for a “linen duvet”, but it’s garbage as far as I’m concerned and I’m out a hundred bucks that would have been better spent if it were put toward an actual linen duvet. Trust the folks who have said it isn’t soft. I really hope I can save someone the trouble of making the mistake I did in purchasing this.

I love these sheets - rich colour. Soft. Has ties included to keep the comforter in place. Slightly odd design with the buttons part way down the comforter - my feet get caught in the material - but otherwise a great product at a reasonable price. They truly make me happy every day.

This package arrived with no brand name identification, and there is no tag on the duvet to indicate what it is made of. There is no way the fabric is linen! It feels and looks like a polyester duvet set. I'm feeling duped by Amazon.
