Worked well for 1/2" pvc broken sprinkler pipe extraction. Just keep turning, fixed in minutes. No more geyser.

Shocked how well this worked
Great little product. I wasn’t sure how finicky it would be, and I couldn’t use the cross piece to help rotate because the pipe was too far into the wall and I didn’t want to make the hole in the drywall larger. So I pushed it into place with my fingers and rotated until it bit. Then I wrapped a cloth around the exposed threads (you can see white remnants of it in photo) and turned with a pair of pliers. I thought this was going to be a game of trial and error but it came out first try.

Didn’t fit.
The tool was was to small for 3/4 pipe. Maybe 1/2 ?

Saved me a call to the $60+ hr plumber
I first tried a set of Kobalt internal wrenches to remove a broken off piece of shower extension pipe, but it seemed too small and the next size up was too big (needed something in between).I then tried this simple extractor tool before giving up and calling a plumber and it did the trick.

Szliyands Screw Extractor - Worked for 1/2 inch poly sprinkler riser. Good tool for the price.
Szliyands Screw Extractor - Used this to extract a poly sprinkler nipple that had broken off inside a brass sprinkler head. It might not be meant for plastic because it ended up compressing the material against the brass threads so hard it was impossible to turn. Eventually the plastic was ground to dust, so the riser came out, just not the way I intended. The included bar for turning is too thin for applying a lot of force without bending it or injuring your hands. I ended up using an adjustable wrench around the flat-sided middle to apply the force I needed.

Fixed our broken shower arm!
Worked like a charm to get the broken bit of shower arm out of the wall! Just stick it in and twist counter clockwise, before long it grabs the broken peice and twists it out.
