Bicor Processing Dr. Mettlers U-Sleep Pillow

I have a lot of neck pain and have tried every damn pillow out there! I am a side sleeper and would wake up with a sore neck and shoulders because my pillows would go flat and there'd be too much pressure on my shoulders. This pillow seemed like a good idea, and for the first few nights it really did help. However, like all polyester filled pillows, it went flat pretty quickly...so disappointed. I have yet to switch it out as I still have hope for it.. I'm wondering if I could diy the pillow and make some adjustments to make this pillow work. The shape really does work well (the dip in the middle for your ear is a little uncomfortable though..). Anyway, if you're a side sleeper like me, it's worth a try! I'm beginning to realize there is no perfect pillow out there. :/

I developed a problem on the ridge of my ear last year when ill and in bed for an extended period of time. It can be painful and has never fully healed. My doctor recommended that I look for a pillow with an indentation for my ear so I was pleased when I found one in a well-known catalog. But, wow, the price! I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a pillow that I couldn't be sure would help. When I checked Amazon.com I found a dealer selling it at 2/3 the price of the catalog. I happily ordered it and so glad I did. The pillow is very comfortable for a side sleeper and there was no "adjustment" period. It truly does protect my ear. No more throbbing. Shipping was fast and no over-packaging.

I'm a side sleeper and absolutely LOVED this pillow at first. The notch for your shoulder puts your head in just the right position without having to constantly readjust during the night. The divot for your ear is a really nice feature and also helps to keep your head in alignment. Just the right loft to cushion without suffocation. However...within around six months it began to flatten and rapidly became a pancake. With nothing to lose, I tried fluffing it in the dryer, then washing and drying it. No joy. I would only recommend it if you don't mind replacing every six months or so.

I have tried many different pillows for my neck issues, over the years. I sleep both on my back and side, and so many pillows are advertised for one or the other, but not both. This one is a bit funky looking, but feels great, in either position! It is not mentioned in the ad, but it does fit in a standard pillow case. I love it!

I purchased this pillow for my husband who is a side sleeper and who always has had a stiff neck when he gets up. This pillow has changed all of that. He seems to sleep more comfortably and he no longer complains about neck pain. While I think it is smaller than I expected, he just loves this pillow and said it is just the right size and will sleep on nothing else since the arrival of this pillow. Kudos to the manufacturer of this pillow for giving him a great morning after all these years.

Really liked the comfort of this pillow, then found out how hot it made me feel. Because my face and head were totally covered, I can’t use it during warm weather. But, if you want comfort and warmth, this pillow is great.

I was skeptical but this pillow has made an amazing difference in not only my sleep, but how I feel when I wake up. My neck and head feel so much better! I would highly recommend this to anyone who sits at a desk in front of a computer all day! Love it!

Probably a good pillow. Just didn't fit me. My ear was uncomfortable and my head was so immersed that my breathing was obstructed.
