Remote not working
Though it mentioned universal remote it does not work for Sony 40 inch LED TV and also another 21in h led tv I have at home. Hence returned.

Worked right away
I had a very old Samsung TV (over 10 years old) with a remote that no longer worked, even when using new batteries. I put in rechargeable batteries in this new one and it worked instantly. No fuss, no configuration needed. Would buy again!

It works on commercial TVs too!
Had a hand-me-down TV that was from a commercial place originally so I was worried that it would not be compatible with my TV. Thankfully it was! I had no problem using it to turn on my TV, adjust settings, and all that other good stuff. Great replacement for the value.
