What is the difference between crisbee puck and crisbee rub?

The Crisbee Rub is a blend of Grapeseed oil and Beeswax. It's a softer blend and you use a small rag or cloth to add the Rub then apply it to your pan. The Crisbee Puck is made with Non-GMO Soybean Oil, Beeswax, and Non-GMO Palm Oil. It's a solid - you hold the Puck and do a quick swipe on the hot surface then rub it in with a cloth or towel. The Rub is a smaller size (2 oz.) than the Puck (3.25 oz.). They both yield the same great results. With all Crisbee the key is to wipe it on then wipe it all off until the pan appears dry.

What is best for first initial seasoning crisbee rub or crisbee puck

We recommend the Crisbee Cream - it’s the best bang for your buck. The Crisbee Rub is better for maintenance.

Is this food grade beeswax?

We use pharmaceutical/cosmetic grade yellow beeswax.

I have an old stove with iron grates that need reseasoning. Will this work on them?

If you are referring to the cast iron grates on a gas stove I suspect that you'd have an issue with the Crisbee Rub burning off and smoking as it's a mixture of vegetable oil, beeswax and palm oil. You might want to try a spray can of black high temperature stove paint.
