Continental Electrics 32 Ounce Hot Pot

When I first got this hot pot (to make pasta in my dorm room), it worked great. However, after about 2 or 3 weeks of use, it does not cook the noodles right anymore. It has stopped boiling while the noodles are in the water (as it used to do perfectly). It seems to only heat to a certain point, even though I am careful to avoid overfilling it. It's strange because it worked perfectly when I got it.

Purchased to heat water for French Press Coffee. Heats a quart of water in 2-3 minutes. Appreciate that temperature is adjustable. Doesn't display temperature, but easy to adjust just below boiling. Purchase 2 and have had no issues whatsoever.

Well this kind of hot pots cannot stop automatically when water is over boiled. Most disappointing is mine just leaked the second time I used it.

This pot didn't last 3 months before it didn't heat !

The hot pot is perfect for travelling to hotels/motels etc. that don't furnish coffee in the rooms. Just pack the pot, some coffee & tea bags, and some hot cups. Voila ! You don't have to dress and go out to get your morning waker-upper.The only thing I don't like about the hot pot is its shape. Would have preferred that it be taller and slimmer....

It looked good, and initially I was quite pleased with it as to appearance and the way it would quickly boil water. However, right from the first, the non-stick whtie surface of the pot would flake off into the water in small pieces. I had to be constantly removing these little pieces before pouring the water into my tea cup. I never used anything in it except water. I am sorry that I cannot recommend it. I was able to return it without question and received a refund. The transaction was completely satisfactory, but this particular pot was not.
