Very satisfied!
I have split Cymbidium orchards 3 times. Each time I replant I use this orchard mix. Every replant has flourished and produced nice stems with many buds.

Orchid loves it!
This is some wonderful stuff. After one week my orchid is doing better than ever! This mixture just looks and feels like something an orchid would thrive in, and it does! There was a lot more in the package than I expected. I may have to go get more orchids to use the rest of it. It is wonderful!

Very Happy to Have Found this Mix!
Friends give me their old orchids after they stop blooming and I nurse them back to life (and bloom), and I usually have to repot them out of the sphagnum moss they come in. I have about 16 orchids going most of the time, so I do need to pot orchids fairly often. After a bad experience with another orchid potting brand (fungas gnats), I tried this one, which looks a lot like the special mix I used to buy at a local (now-closed) orchid nursery. I am very happy with it, so far. It is easy to use, holds moisture without waterlogging, and my plants are doing well in it. It has actually revived some plants that were not thriving in the bulkier (larger bark pieces) mix. I mix this with a little bit of Summit Responsible Solutions Mosquito Bits, in case the fungas gnats ever return, as it is very effective against them.I have mostly oncidiums and phalaenopsis and a few more exotic orchids. You are supposed to soak the mix before potting, but it is easier to pot them dry. If you pot them dry, soak the pots in a tub of water for a while after potting -- for an hour or two -- to get the mix good and wet starting out. After that, never leave them soaking in water more than 20 minutes.

Looks promissing, but may cause allergies.
This mix lookes great, but the same day I received and examined the mix, I broke out in a full body rash shortly after. I first thought there may be mold growing in the mix (I am very allergic to certain types), but upon furrther inspection, I could not really see any. The potting mix is the only new thing I was exposed to, so it makes sence that its the cause of my intence reaction, but I cant really be sure. I have never reacted badly to any other mix before. Hopefully no one else has this happen, but if you have alot of bad allergies, be carefull!

I love this stuff
The box was generous, I was able to repot 12 plants. The mix was great, fresh and airy. I am very pleased. I used it for my phals, catts, paphs, and oncidiums. They look great in it.

Highly recommend - great for orchids!
I bought this a couple months ago for my indoor orchid, and my orchid is thriving! I bought it from the store when it had just bloomed, and had it in full bloom for a few months before the flowers started to drop. Once most of the flowers had dropped I repotted it into this mix plus a little bit of sphagnum moss. It's the perfect combo because this orchid mix allows the roots to breathe but the bits of moss throughout helped retain moisture a little longer than just the bark. I highly recommend this potting mix. A few weeks after I repotted it my orchid grew a new leaf and now it's growing a ton of new roots. It's super healthy and alive, thanks to this potting mix!

I like the feel and smell of this mix and I hope my orchid will also . This mix appears to be the mix suggested by the best orchid books.

Excellent for orchids.
The soil is very easy to use and low on mess. Water weekly and mist often. These orchids just love to be treated to some tender loving care...and this soil is just the ticket.
