Even the Amerock site only has this view. Thanks!** A: The knob itself is an oblate spheroid - diameter 1 1/8" and 1/2" thick. Now imagine this set on top of a column with the top and bottom of the column 5/8" diameter and about 3/32" high with the section between these ends of the column decreasing in diameter from about 1/2" where it meets these these ends and tapering to 1/4" at the center. The column is about 3/4" high. The underside of the column end that goes against the cabinet is recessed about 1/16" so that the screw has to be the thickness of the cabinet plus that recess before it even starts to screw into the knob. That is where the problem comes with the screw length.
