This product is so incredible if you are trained in Janina Fishers trauma model, or others. I love that it explains how trauma impacts the brain and is very understandable and relatable for clients. Highly recommend.

Really is helpful when used in a clinical setting. I find it helpful to explain certain concepts as they come up because it allows clients to know that they are not the only ones who have experienced such things. I would not use it as a walk-through or instruction manual type workbook.

I use this weekly with my clients who have experienced trauma. It is a great tool and I like that clients can write on it. Additionally I like that it gives the therapist speaking points. I wish this came with a Telehealth version so I can use it with my online clients, since most of my clients are online I do not use it as often as I would like.

Every therapist should have this book and flip chart. Easy to use with clients - very good explanations for therapists. Using current techniques and supports paradigm.

This flip chart is SO helpful in session. I understand the reviews that say it isn’t a stand alone (no pun intended) product. I had the workbook first, but once I found this, it was a game changer for me to read from book while the client has something to look at.

Excellent format with very important information. It’s so easy to use for clients to understand trauma. I love how there is a diagram on one side that faces the client and a detailed description on the back for the therapist. I highly recommend this flip chart.

Excellent tool for therapy

I have bought this flip chart on the recommendation of another person in the trauma training I have attended as a therapist. I cannot recommend this to much. It has helped my confused client come to clarity seeing the pages which validate their experience. What I also love is on the front page it give diagrams on the other side it has guidance for the therapist to help the client explore what the diagrams are all about and as a bonus some great questions to ask the client to reflect on, such as how did my symptoms help me? For every counsellor out there who work with trauma this is a must to your tool kit.

An excellent resource for my counselling practice. I offer trauma informed therapy and I now use the diagrams in this book with almost all my clients at one time or another. One of the best and best value-for-money resources I purchased over the years.
