Perfect fit
It seems like it has been a year since I installed the oil pan gasket. There is still no visible signs of oil leaks. Installation was easy. The price seems a bit high considering the amount of material used to make it, but far cheaper than the same day pick up option.

Fel-Pro Quality and Authenticity: Perfect replacement on 2012 Ford Escape
The gasket worked perfectly on my 2012 Ford Escape 3.0 V6 AWD oil pan. No concerns with the product or packaging; met-expectations for Fel-Pro quality and authenticity. Re-assembly onto the block does require two blobs of RTV so don't miss this step. Two weeks since gasket replacement and no leaks or issues. Save money and buy the part here vs your local auto store (which was like 2x price in my area).

Worked great - wish I had used it the first time
I changed out the oil pan in a 2001 Ford Escape and decided I'd skip the high cost gasket and instead buy a caulking tube of high temp (600 degree) gasket maker for $13. The red stuff. Name brand. It was enough to do the job 3 times over. Well I had to do the job over! In about a month, the red gasket material started to break down and leak. I then had to dig the red stuff out of the gasket groove before I could install a real gasket. A nasty 2 hour job. And another 2 hours to R&R the oil pan the second time. This gasket fit perfectly, and no more leaks after using it. So much for trying to save $20. Note: The replacement oil pan I purchased requires a 2003 equivalent gasket, which this gasket is a match for. For those of you with the original 2001 oil pan, a different gasket is needed.
