Easy to use basic featured phones which do the job without any unnecessary bells and whistles. Good incoming sound and battery keeps its charge for a good amount of time away from its base.

A bit over complicated for me but it makes and answers a call, which is all i need, I am Deaf it would benifit from a very bright flshing white led, but that is just a suggestion that would benifit me and four million other deaf people. Overall nice phone at a reasonable price

I’ve been using this range for many years, these were simply replacements for past good servants at the end of their useful lives.

After we switched to full fibre broadband the phone has to be plugged into the back of the Sky Hub. OUr Panasonic DECT phone didn't seem to like this method of connection and the quality of audio was rubbish and occasionally it would ring for no reason. This is a problem when it happens in the dead of night. We did a bit of research and the Gigaset phones were supposedly the best and all seems to work well. Audio is punchy without a feeling of the sound being tinny, but the only issue is that the display is bright and doesn't turn off ever meaning at night time it lights up our living room so we take it off the holder in the evening and place it back the next day otherwise the light is annoying as we live in a bungalow with a glass door onto the hallway so at night the house glows up. Gigaset need an upgrade to turn the display lights off after 10 seconds of being on charge maybe. Overall for the price (approx £15) it offers good value.

The ring tone on this phone is very quiet. Can’t hear if in another room. Plus if you can hear it unless your right by it by the time you get to it it stops.

received it today easy to set up and though hasn’t rang yet and haven’t spoken on it i am please with it, just wondered though if display light goes off after a while its on when in the base unless its still charging the batteries, the red lines on the screen is a screen protector and it peels off

I bought these Gigaset handsets to replace my aging Panasonic ones. I prefer the Gigaset display, easy to setup and use. Has all the features you need provided you don't need an answerphone. The only thing is that the choice of ringtones may not be to everyone's desire, but I found one which is acceptable for me.
