Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good product. The helmet is adjustable and was able to fit my daughters head perfectly. Feels safe and sturdy and does not cause her any pain.

Durable and well rounded set. It contains the helmet, as well as pads for elbow, wrist, and knees. We purchased when our toddler was 3 and a half and have been using for over a year. The pads were (and still are) a bit big, so we have to finesse the velcro on the pads so they would fit. Fits best when on top of clothing, but stays on either way. The straps are long, so she has plenty of room to grow. The helmet is adjustable, with a knob to tighten or loosen it, so it can also grow with her. She uses it for bike and scooter riding mostly, but also ice skating. Knee pads are a must for ice skating. Even when using the skating aids, kids will fall and the pads let her skate without being phased when she fell. We use all the pads for scooter rides and they have been a life saver. They don't inhibit her mobility and have saved her from scrapes more times than we can count. Great way to give a little one confidence when learning to ride/play independently. Highly recommend.

Good quality, seems to do the job. Glad to see it covers most of the back of a child’s head, as well as top and sides. Some leave little or NO PROTECTION for the base of the skull. This one seems to cover that area on my daughters head. We grandparents ordered this set for our granddaughter to use with her pink Royal Baby bike (14"). The helmet seems great in that it has all types of adjustments to make it fit, afterward it buckles with just one click. The downside is that my granddaughter resisted this helmet for a few weeks, preferring her own that has Mohawk spikes. But now she wears it. She has had one crash (with the pink helmet on) with no injury to anything but her palms. She had a quick recovery after putting a bandaid on her hand. Which brings up the pads. So far she has resisted wearing the pads. She may be more cooperative now that she has fallen once. The pads seem great but so far are still in like-new condition. ;-)

Highly recommend purchasing. Grandson is 3.5 and is going from a balance bike to a 2 wheeler so protection was needed.
