Best RGB fans
Hands down the best RGB fans out there. I like the design, nice and simple, not too distracting. I wish the ring was a little better lit, you can still see where the filaments are, but it's not bad and it's even so I'm not deducting any stars. I think these are a pretty good price considering they're quiet and high quality. I do wish that they made a version that would easily mount together for rads, like a pack of three of these with a daisy-chained cable, but as it is you're getting a typical cable arrangement.

Be Quiet out performs my expectations once again.
Be Quiet! Light Wings 120mm PWM: Silent Symphony with a Touch of RGB Flair Overall Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars For: Silent PC enthusiasts, RGB lovers seeking low noise, case fan and radiator upgrade seekers Against: Limited ARGB control options, higher price than some non-RGB alternatives Performance: 5 out of 5 stars Be Quiet! lives up to its name with the Light Wings 120mm PWM. It delivers exceptional cooling performance while remaining whisper-quiet. Even at its maximum 1700 RPM, the noise level stays incredibly low, making it a dream for silent PC builds. The airflow optimization ensures efficient heat dissipation, making it suitable for both air coolers and radiators. Features: 4 out of 5 stars The Light Wings 120mm boasts a robust build quality with a sleek black design. The included PWM control allows for flexible fan speed adjustments based on your needs. The highlight, of course, is the vibrant ARGB lighting that adds a touch of personal flair to your PC. However, unlike other RGB fans, the control options are limited to the included hub, lacking software control or integration with major motherboard ecosystems. Value: 4 out of 5 stars While the Light Wings 120mm falls on the pricier side compared to some non-RGB fans, its exceptional quietness and build quality justify the premium. If you value silence and want a touch of RGB without sacrificing performance, it's a worthwhile investment. Things to Consider: Limited ARGB Control: No software control or motherboard integration for the lights, relying solely on the included hub. Higher Price: More expensive than some non-RGB alternatives with similar performance. Black Design: Might not be ideal for builds with different color schemes. Final Verdict: The Be Quiet! Light Wings 120mm PWM is a remarkable achievement in balancing powerful cooling with near-silent operation. Its sleek design, vibrant ARGB lighting, and robust build quality make it a top choice for silent PC enthusiasts and RGB lovers alike. While the limited ARGB control and higher price tag are minor drawbacks, its overall performance and quality shine through. If you prioritize silence and want a touch of RGB magic in your PC, the Light Wings 120mm PWM is a worthy addition to your symphony of silence.

Would buy again if any of these fans fail.
Best fans to fit my setup, and provide the right cooling for my build and case. Took a while to research which fans I needed, even at high RPM's they are still quiet. The cables are long enough to reach my hubs and that is all that matters. Colors are vibrant and was a good value for the quantity and quality. They are very reliable and easy to install.

Insanely Silent
This is insanely silent versus the thermaltake I was using for about a year. I replace only the fans, in the future I will replace the whole system with this bran which even offers refill conector to the coolers. LED light are not so bright or cool but who care I preffer solid build quality instead. This double the weight of my olds ones. I think that is related to the better quality. It has a ARGB box which leave you to conect more light from your pc, I'd like if that was extended to the fans because it does not have daisy chain to conect one to the next one and the last one to the mother board. You will need to conect each one direct to your mother board and maybe need an aditional extension cable. This is a good product.

Good balance of aesthetics and performance.
I'm generally iffy on RGB lighting in computers, but do like it as an accent in a few places. The light ring style makes an excellent accent, especially when contrasted against the angular nature of most PC components. They provide overall less lighting in total unless you set them to just straight white, so your case doesn't look fully lit, keeping the contrast between light and dark, emphasizing the rings themselves, which I find very attractive. When I do run white, I set them to about 35% brightness. They also tend a little blue, so you may need to adjust the blue channel down a bit more than green and red if you want a pure white, but most RGB components have similar issues. I'm terms of performance, trading the few millimeters at the outside edge of the fan for the light ring probably costs a bit of airflow performance, but these seem competitive with even most non-RGB fans. They won't match BeQuiet's own Silent Wings Pro 4, Noctua's NF-A12, or Phanteks' T30, but they are at on par with many decent fans. The noise isn't super quiet when you get to the high RPMs, but it's a very unobtrusive pitch that's quickly drowned out by the audio you *want* to hear from your PC.

Pretty good fans!
I decided to buy these fans to add some aesthetic RGB to my build, running them as rear and top case fans inside my Fractal Design North. If you look at reviews, you will see that these do not necessarily perform the best compared to other options on the market, especially if you use them on a CPU tower cooler, radiator, or in a case with restricted air flow. However, since the North is fairly open, I figured these would work well enough and for that reason I opted for the non-high speed version. I was right that they would work well. Combined, they pull air well as exhaust fans in this case and help keep my system fairly cool. Using the stock 140 mm intake fans along with a Phantom Spirit on my 9800x3d, my CPU temps stay within 50 to 60 something C and my Sapphire Pulse 9070XT stays below 60 C (ambient temp about 70-80F) with all settings cranked up in the latest games. I haven't tested them thoroughly enough to say exactly how much these fans specifically are helping, but overall the cooling is performing well. Not only are they effective, but these fans are not noisy at all with the custom fan curve I am using. In fact, of all the fans in my case, these are the quietest and the noise they do give off is pleasant. This could be a bit of a trade off because they may not move as much air as others, but I think they offer a decent balance of cooling performance, noise, and aesthetics. I ultimately didn't purchase these for raw performance as I figured most fans would work well enough as exhaust in the North, and I really like how they look. Aesthetics are subjective, but I like the RGB ring from the front and the fact that I can see the rear view RGB ring from the top of my case. My only gripe, and the reason why I took one star off, is related to installation. The RGB component gives you options to chain them together or use a hub. I used the hub which works great but it only works for the RGB component. Unfortunately, the fans do not come with an option to chain the fan power cables together or connect to the hub. Instead, you have to either buy a separate splitter, get a dedicated fan hub, or use three separate fan headers. My motherboard fan header placement was a little awkward for rear and top fans, so I had to get creative to make it work. I figured it out in the end, but I really wish they had included at least one splitter in the three pack to make the process easier. Splitters are not that expensive so it is not a big deal, but it is something to note. In the end, I would recommend these fans for their aesthetic quality and for offering decent cooling performance in the right circumstances like an easy, open airflow case. Just be sure to plan ahead for the installation! On a separate note, I have used Be Quiet's fans in the past and have been pleased by their build quality and longevity, having run a pair of silent wings in my last systems over 6 years with no issues so I am hoping these will also offer a similar life span.

Great fans.
These fans looked great, were easy to hook up, spun fast but quiet. I did return them only because I changed my mind and went for a no rgb build.

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
This review is for the standard non-HS model. These run at lower RPMs but are a little quieter and optimized for air flow rather than static pressure. I did a bit of research before buying these. Case fans can be a more complicated purchase than you'd expect; when trying to balance noise, performance, and price there's a lot to think about - throw in aesthetics and it gets even worse. As someone who likes high visibility "fish tank" cases RGB was important to me but I still wanted good performance. At this price I don't think you'll find another fan that checks all of those boxes. Corsair has a similar offering but sound tests showed they had a more grating high pitch noise despite emitting objectively lower decibels. The light wings at full spin emit more of a low whooshing noise which is easily ignored. Even with six of them mounted on my case max RPM is tolerable, although their air flow is so effective that I never reach these speeds under normal use. I kept my old fans at 30% voltage because their noise was intolerable so I had significant ambient temperatures inside the case during long gaming sessions, at worst going 20°F above room temperature. Now that differential has shrunk to 14°F at worst and my GPU and CPU stay cool and spin their fans up much less, resulting in a much quieter system beyond the fans themselves. (see the graph pic. readings are taken with an Aranet 4 inside the case) The aesthetics could be better but they certainly aren't bad, especially for a component that is more often heard than seen even in a case like mine. Maybe I'm gushing a bit but knowing how well they perform adds to the aesthetics in a way. To do better you'd have to pay double for Lian Li SL120's or similar. Long review short I will not be skimping on fans for any of my future builds. These light wings are my new baseline for performance and value.

These are amazing!
1.) Noise - Does just as advertised. The noise is barely noticeable. I have mine with a fan curve starting at 60% and at idle/low loads you can barely hear them. At full blast, max RPM, the noise is noticeable but I believe it is mostly due to my fans pushing air through the fins of my radiator. 2.) Lighting / connectivity - Very vibrant and strong LEDs. They come with a hub and they connect to the ARGB header on the motherboard. I control them through Armoury Crate (Asus). Very simple sinc up and it matches the colours perfectly between my MB and GPU 3.) Cooling - I had cooler master fans that developed a rattle so I replaced them with these. The Cooler Master fans held my pc at 39-41 Celsius under no load, up to 75 under load. With these, it's 31-32 degrees no load and 60-65 under load Really really satisfied with these I did add 3* for easy to install as it is not very easy to replace fans within a PC

100% recommend!
These are great in terms of their function as fans (almost dead silent up to about 1000rpm, pretty quiet on full speed and move plenty of air). The rgb is great as well. They feel very solid and seem like really good quality. Colours are accurate and bright. Not too much light comes off the back, so if you’re hoping to light up the inside of your case I suggest the upHere LED Strip. I put some pics with the strip on and off so you can compare.
