I really like how easy it was to set up. The app is great and it tells me who and what is logged in. Great product to start.

Real easy setup, working fast and flawlessly

This unit is very simple to plug in and connect to for initial setup. However, the manual is severely lacking, so there are many settings you are not aware of, nor is there any explanation for what they do once you find them. The first two days I would wake up to no internet until I did a hard reset of the unit. I then found there is not only a sleep timer in one menu, but there is a "wifi disable" timer in a second menu, and then a router reboot timer in yet a third menu, and all came with different default times. Once I set all of those, I finally had a stable connection in the mornings. The data transfer on this unit is very good. I have a 300Mbps connection, and get easily get over 200 Mbps down over the wifi. The range is not as great as I hoped for having 4 antennas, as the 5G strength drops to about 80% at around 30 feet, so keep that in mind for placement.

I purchased a Tenda AC15 AC1900 about 2016. It has been a great router, Great price. Easy powerful admin features. Worked flawlessly for years. It still works great. Highly recommended for years. I really wanted a new Tenda router and purchased this one. Great specs, Great price. Needed the extended wifi signal to reach garage. Got the new RX pro. Nice packaging, connected right away to the Internet. Then I started doing my testing. I was surprised that the RX9 Pro had the same distance signal as my AC1900 considering the new router has 4 6dbi antennas and my old one has 3 4dbi antennas. I got intermittent speeds on 5ghz and 2.4 ghz as well as wired connections to the RX9pro. The deal breaker came when I could not connect my Roku in the adjacent room to the new router. It could not even find the signal. I reset the Roku network connection rebooted all devices and still no signal. All my 30 devices connected except for 3. I do not know why. Plus the unit was extremely hot. Also, trying to do a firmware upgrade online, the router never could find their site. My old one always is able to check for upgrades. Lastly, I like to use old routers as Wifi repeaters, but this one does not have the capability. And I was unable to test my theory that the issue had to do with the client power saving mode as there is no way to turn it off. Sadly, I have to return the item and I am very disappointed. I had to pick up a different brand router that is refurbed and still costs more than this one. I also had to reinstall my old Tenda router for the time being. I gave it 3 stars because I really like the admin features and the Tenda Brand in general. I will try Tenda again, just not the RX9 Pro. maybe its too new or needs a firmware upgrade. It had the latest firmware out of the box.

Funciona perfectamente

I was sick of paying $5 for a subpar WiFi 6 router with Spectrum so I decided to get this one. I also needed a router that can split 5GHz and 2.4GHz into 2 SSID’s because I had household appliances that were not compatible with 5G WiFi (Eufy robot vacuum, some smart outlets, etc.). It was easy to install and get up and running because the instructions were great. I did have to call Spectrum to help do some resets but that was a problem with my modem and not with this router. My apartment is a little over 1,000 sq ft (3 bd/2bth) and I can get full coverage everywhere except sometimes I will get one less bar in the bathroom that is located in the furthest corner of my apartment. It’s still really fast though. I am on the 5th floor of my building and I can even get signal when I walk on the 4th floor under where my apartment is located. It is blazing fast even with the cheapest internet speed that I pay for with Spectrum in West Los Angeles. I pay for 200mbps plan, and during non peak hours I can get up to 400 mbps if I’m connected to 5GHz. If I’m on the regular 2.4GHz, I will get a little under 200mbps. During peak hours, I get around 150-200mbps on 5GHz even on 2 bars which is still fast enough for my daughter and me to browse the internet, watch movies, and get some work done. I don’t use this with any intensive applications like pro gaming but it would be great for that if you pay for a higher speed internet plan because it can definitely accommodate fast speeds. I have about 9 things (appliances, cell phones, tablets, TV, etc.) connected to the router and it can handle it easily. The router comes with 4 antennas that are great for adjusting the signal coverage in multiple story homes or large floor plans. Just keep in mind that the signal waves come from the SIDES of the antenna, and not the top tip of the antenna like many people assume. So if you want to get coverage on the 2nd floor, you should turn your antennas almost horizontally so that the sides are facing in the direction of the room you need coverage. Also 5GHz can’t penetrate walls as well as 2.4GHz, so you will get a stronger signal on 2.4GHz in rooms far from the router location with lots of walls or obstructions in between so definitely keep the router somewhere in the middle of your home. I can only keep this in my living room which is the furthest from my bedroom but I still get good coverage no matter what I’m connected to. Hope that helps someone that was clueless about that for many years like me lol.

Ho acquistato il dispositivo di questa marca a me sconosciuta, quando è arrivato ho dovuto guardare un video su YouTube per poterlo configurare, perché così come era descritto nel manuale non funzionava. L'ho installato e avevo un buon segnale, in meno di 24 ore ho dovuto riavviare manualmente il dispositivo perché non inviava più segnale. Ho chiamato il SAC della marca, mi ha risposto un uomo gentile dicendomi che non poteva consigliarmi in quanto l'apparecchio al momento funzionava. Quando ha smesso di funzionare, l'altra sera, ho chiamato di nuovo e poi non ha risposto nessuno ed è stato così per qualche giorno, senza riuscire a contattare il marchio. Non lo consiglio, non ha funzionato per me.

I have been using this rauter for about 1.5 years. Speed and range are good, but sometimes the 5 GHz network disappears and occasionally both networks go down for few minutes. The app also has a bug wher password changes don't apply immediately or sometimes have to repeat the process again. Overall decent performance but some annoying reliability issues.

I bought this router to replace two TP-Link routers that both died, one never worked and the second dies last week, only had them since March. The Tenda was very easy to set up, plug and play really. It looks a bit spidery with all the antennas but works really well so far. Speeds are faster than the old routers, which cost more. For the price paid, I would recommend this to anyone.
