Vertagear Racing Series P-Line PL6000 Gaming Chair, Black/Virtus Pro

Was good till metal was sticking me in legs. Also caster wheels broke within a week. To be fair manufacture apologized and tried to make right but I’m done with it now.

UPDATED at the end.Original Purchase Date: 05/05/2018The chair is very stable. I weigh 375lbs and have no problems with the piston or any leaning. I can sit comfortably in all the set positions of the chair. the one thing I don't like is that the arms wobble alot and there is not a locking mechanism for the twisting feature of the arms like all the other settings for the chair. so when i bump them they will adjust in and out. only real issue i see with this is that the "click" that "locks " them in place will likely wear out before other parts of the chair. As far as the issues people have had with the base of this chair, the only way that breaks in that way is if its a manufacturer defect, in which case it should be covered by warranty. otherwise these people must be flopping down in the chair at weird angles. the base is super solid. the wheels seem solid as well but are plastic with rubber. i expect them to be one of the first things to go along with the arms. i believe they are standard size so i should be able to replace them with better casters in the future.UPDATE:11/30/2019The Piston has been acting up the last few weeks. I started to notice it would be lower than I had it set when I would leave it unused for a couple days. I thought maybe it was being adjusted but then It started to do the "drop" I'm sure most people are familiar with while sitting on a chair with a deteriorating piston. this would happen once a week and then every couple days. I sent an email to Vertagear and they requested more Info Which I have sent.UPDATE:12/2/2019I received an email today stating there would be a 5 day review on my claim. they have been prompt and quick to respond, but a 5 day review is almost enough to lower my rating on this product on its own considering I purchased this chair to replace a chair with this exact problem. I sought out a 400lb weight limit chair because i hover around 350-375. I'm disappointed this chair didn't last as long as my last chair that was about half the cost. I'm more disappointed that this requires any kind of review. Vertagear should be trying to fix this as fast as possible. I feel like i was duped into the Racer Chair Fad. I should have just bought something like a Herman Miller.UPDATE:12/3/2019They Emailed Asking for Pictures and a video of the issue. This took time to try to capture. Extremely Irritating.UPDATE:12/15/2019Piston Showed up in the mail today. No notice form them or anything that it was coming. Glad I got it replaced but that was a pain in the butt.

This is a good chair. 4 Stars due to some manufacturing defects. 2 of the castors arrived broken. While I can still use the chair, the castors will separate if the chair moves a bit. The left armrest also came broken. Vertagear is quick and easy to get warranty the broken parts. They're sending out replacements for the armrest and a new set of castors.I wish the chair could go a little lower. I'm 6'3" and while the chair goes high enough and also low enough, My personal preference is to sit an inch or 2 lower. The chair feels plenty strong to support someone way heavier than I am, the cushioning could be a tad softer, but I'm sure it'll get softer after a month or two of use.Overall the fit and finish of this chair is nice. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Customer service is good, and after some time the comfort will be better.

Do not purchase this chair unless you want to throw your money away. I purchased the chair less than 12 months ago and as other reviewers have said the metal has snapped between the legs and the mechanism that puts the chair up and down. If you look on this and other websites this is clearly a design flaw and it is a weak point within the chair.I have contacted the seller with photographs and their response is to go direct to the manufacturer or box the chair up and send it off for assessment, given the weight of the chair this is ridiculous and i am now without a chair for two plus weeks and i imagine it will be a lot more for them to assess when it is clear from the pictures the chair is destroyed.Spend your money elsewhere
