You just put them in the laundry with your rags/towels, they will keep their rough texture. I haven’t dried them, I have no idea if they would shrink but they air dry quickly. I’m not sure how long they last exactly but I personally will replace after they change quality, as in they don’t exfoliate as well. From what I understand this doesn’t happen quickly, it’s the type of material itself that exfoliates. **Q: Can you put in washing machine?** A: I don't see why not! They will shrink up to the size they shrink up to while in the shower. Yes, they shrink!!! **Q: Do I put body wash on the cloth or just use the plain cloth?** A: I think it’s for dry scrubbing. But you can definitely put body wash on it. **Q: Is there any texture differences between the green & red ones? Thanks!** A: The red and the green are exactly the same. There's no texture difference. I love these.
