Southland Sod Farms 21 Sod and Seed Starter 15-15-15, 18-Pound

The guys that installed our sod lawn last year left us 2 bags of this stuff. They said to apply it every 3 months. At first I let the time frame slide to 5 months, so there were several browning spots on the lawn. After applying this stuff onto the lawn and checking back a couple weeks later (it's a rental property), the lawn looked spectacular. I'd used up the 2 bags entirely, but it was well worth it. Fast forward to 1 month ago (July 2020) and its been 3.5 months since the last dose. Time for another dose, but this time the lawn installers can't get us any bags. I figure, well they are all one in the same. Went to Lowes and picked up a bag of Pennington One Step Complete for Tall Fescue. All products are NOT THE SAME! I followed the instructions to the T and after 4 weeks that Pennington crap didn't grow more grass than the size of my palm! Hey, at least I have big palms, but that was completely unsatisfactory. I'll never buy that crap again. Thank GOD for this Southland Sod Farms Sod and Seed Starter 15-15-15. Folks, this stuff really works and with little to no prep work. Just toss the stuff on the brown spots and water for a couple minutes daily. Lush, green grass and lawn is in your future. Love this stuff.

Ive used different brands from box store to expensive, but this one stands out above all else. I have bermuda. Everytime i fertilize, the color pops and spreads quicker than with just water and nitrogen rich topsoil.

The product is way over priced!

I spead thus on my lawn in early spring. My grass greened up and grew like crazy a few weeks later.
