Is the bear look the same as the picture?** A: Toothpick bear is medium light brown, soft and cuddly. He or she is not stoff at all and is very easy for a toddler to carry around. I have a picure of my granddaughter hugging it and kissing the topportunity of her head, all in the same motion. She is only 18MO at the time. **Q: does this bear sit upright by itself or is it flimsy and needs to be propped up?** A: It is soft stuffed bear, but it can sit up by itself, if you post it in a right way. By the way, he is a really slim teddy bear **Q: Can this be considered a not-so-stuffed animal?** A: It is the usual soft, cuddly, stuffed animal Gund is known for.
