Why pay more?
This toothbrush cost me £40 , supposedly reduced from £70. Never pay full price.I have had several Braun toothbrushes over the last twenty years and have never needed to spend more than around £40. How on earth some are priced at £300+ baffles me.This one is perfectly well made (in Germany) and does the job. Battery life is 8 days, brushing twice a day for two minutes each time, before the red light starts to flash.Braun brush heads last for several weeks; don't be tempted by cheaper copies, which in my experience don't fit properly, break and don't last.Quality counts.

The best option out there IMO
I've had this brush for 10 years. By that, I mean I bought this model 10 yeas ago when it was sold as a "Trizone" brush, with sideways action brush heads. So I spent 10 years thinking that this could only take those heads. Turns out those heads are not very good, like I thought they were, evidence of which my dentist has told me my gums are really bad and I needed lots of tartar removal and fillings done, having not visited in 10 years, and this is in combination of floss and interdental brushing.I found out by mistake that this DOES actually work with the more proven rotary brushes. I found out after ordering the Pro3 brush from Braun and accidentally putting one of the rotary brushes on my older brush before realizing after founding that it worked! - I would have kept the more expensive Pro3, because it charges far quicker than this, but I hated the annoying fact you had to cycle through 3 modes before turning it off. Everything else I liked but that single button for doing everything was a deal breaker. I like to rinse the brush head under running water and don't want to faff about pressing a button multiple times to do it. So that went back and having discovered that I didn't need a new brush to fit rotary brush heads, decided there was nothing wrong with my current brush. However it was 10 years old and the rubber grip was decaying. Exactly the same day that I sent the other brush back, this one decided it was no longer going to work. I had peeled back some of the rubber that was falling apart, but it turns out that was what was water proofing it. It then decided to turn on and off on it's own so I had to let the battery run down and throw it out, then buy the same one again, which leaves me here.So the reason I only gave 4 stars is because charging this thing seems to take forever. I can leave overnight and it's still flashing in the morning. It lasts about a week and the red flashing to warn you of a low battery always comes too late, as it's obvious the battery is weak at this point because it's running very slow. The light only serves to drain it quicker so its pointless. However, the only reason I bought this again is because it's just as powerful (or there's hardly anything in it) as the more expensive ones, it does the job and is more simple without all the fancy gimmicks. All you need is the 4 timers to tell you that each quadrant of the mouth is done and a final one to let you know you are done, and a strong motor. The real reason this brush is so good though is the cross action brush head. This really does get into the gum line which is all important and the supplied head is something I will be using from now on. I bought many types of heads but this is the one that really gets in and deep scrubs the plaque away.Supplied toothpaste is a nice touch and really is minty fresh. I hope this one lasts 10 years as the last one did. I will probably clean and dry it better to stop the rubber from rotting this time

FANTASTIC PRODUCE FOR PRICE - NOW CONVERTED TO ORAL B TOOTHPASTE TOO!
I bought this to replace my previous one, same model as the other one lasted 7 years and was still working – only replaces as mould had developed under the plastic handle – but not bad for 7 years of usage. If/when I have to replace this one, I will try to get the same make and model – if available. The excellent part of this new brush, was the free Oral B tube of toothpaste and discovering I really like it. I have since been converted to using Oral B toothpaste!

Great toothbrush
Great item, but no pressure sensor. Dont expect flashy red light when pressing to hard, it's not there. But not bothered as it cleans well n feels fresh. Amazon Prime are now Amazon Maybe as they deliver when they like...... So Item great, Delivery rubbish.

Really pleased. Great product, cheap price
I don't like spending more than I need to but I don't want to buy something that's rubbish just because it is cheap. Oral B is what I have had in the past so I wanted to stick with them. At such a cheap price I wasn't sure if it would be any good. But it's just as good if not better than my previous one. I'm so chuffed.

Battery packed up after a year
Worked well for a while but now can't hold charge long enough to actually brush my teeth. Had to throw it away and buy another one.

Charge does not last aweek
Always bought braun, been excellent ,last one lasted 2 years before needed charging until it decided to come on, on its own ,while in the cupboard . So I bought this model Braun toothbrush excellent delivery, looked exactly same as old one. Followed charging instructions and use it for only 6 times it needs charging again. If you clean teeth twice a day that's every 3 days you have to charge it up again. Really annoying I thought Braun was better than that . I would have returned it but circumstances were not favourable. Could it be that these toothbrushes have been on the shelf along time and the batteries are old and do not charge as they should. It's six month on , you have to charge for 2days to get 2 1\2 days use. Absolute rubbish .It's my thinking these have been in storage for long while and batteries are now old.
