IT TASTES DIFFERENT FROM THE USUAL RAMEN
I made IMMI ramen chicken/black sesame for dinner yesterday and will contribute the following comments. Read the directions on the package. Have green scallions, hard boiled egg, shrimp, mushrooms, or another garnish or two ready to add to it. Eaten plain, the taste is good, but definitely is different from grocery store ramen. It is very bland and really takes on the flavors of whatever you add to it in the way of garnishes. It is not salty. It tastes like "whole food" or "food with substance". I ate half of mine al dente, the rest cooked until it softened. I will buy it again because of the nutritional benefits, but I will be better prepared next time I cook it. Read the suggested condiments. This product has potential and, hopefully, will be available at a lower price so that more people can take advantage of the nutrition it affords those who eat it. It would be difficult for elderly people to afford and even for the college students who are notorious for eating ramen as a penny pinching measure. Try it. Visit the Immi Website and you will get a personal video email from one of the founders. Immi has a place in healthy eating.

Disappointingly Disgusting
The ultimate yuck! I was thrilled to stumble upon an ad for this brand, as my husband and I have been looking for healthier quick options to have at home--but especially as an asian woman myself, I wanted to give this company my business. Although the product arrived promptly, well packaged, and as described, the ramen itself was downright disgusting. I'll break down the experience my husband and I shared. Preparation: Easy to prepare, typical packaged, at home ramen. My husband and I used a stove top to prepare the noodles as directed on the packet. Flavor: What I imagine cardboard would taste like. No chicken, salt, or authentic taste whatsoever, just bland water. The smell of the ramen itself is telling of how it tastes, which to us, was an off putting scent, almost reminiscent of body odor, quite frankly. Noodle texture: Chalky. Not sure of what other word is as accurate to use but these noodles are dense and feel like they're made from unmixed ingredients, rather than feeling smooth. My husband notes that the noodles are the worst part of the ramen, that while the broth isn't great, the noodles just make it that much more inedible. Other notes: While there is less sodium, the saturated fat content is notably higher (9g, 45% daily value) compared to a cheaper brand, ie, Top Ramen (7g, 33% daily value). Although the numbers aren't extreme, they're worth considering, as Immi prides itself on being an all-around healthier option. Conclusion: We couldn't even finish the chicken ramen and my husband and I are debating tossing the rest of our variety pack because of how negative our experience was, seriously, this was revolting ramen. However, considering how overpriced they are, we're torn, and are considering at least trying the two other flavors (beef and shrimp) and if we do, will update accordingly. Update: We desired, for our own well being to not try the other two flavors and tossed them in the trash.

Let me break it down
Okay. The FB ads got me on this one. I kept seeing this stuff over and over. I read a lot of reviews. The cost stopped me more than once and then I finally gave in. I got the variety pack. 2 Spicy Beef, 2 Tom Yum Shrimp, and 2 Black Garlic Chicken. The noodles themselves are as close to actual Ramen as possible without being ramen. They don't have much of a flavor themselves and do take a little longer than normal ramen to absorb the flavors of the broth but the texture is good with both stovetop and microwave methods. There's no need to be critical here. It's a healthy noodle. My inner-carb-lover is satisfied and they are super filling portions that keep you full. Now for the flavors Beef: It's good. Imagine a slightly muted version of regular beef flavored ramen. I'm okay with it. It's less sodium. It's a good flavor, just not strong. Black garlic chicken: For sure my favorite of the three. Great flavor. Same as above as far as being kind of muted flavor but it's not in a bad way. I do recommend letting the noodles sit for a bit in the broth before diving in. You can always add in your own toppings for more flavor, which I did my second go around but my review is for the product on it's own. Tom Yum Shrimp: It's a solid no for me. This one honestly tasted like how I imagine cleaning products taste. It's weird and I do usually like shrimp-flavored things. Conclusion: Overall I'm not mad about the purchase. It was good. If you are keto and miss ramen, this will hit for you. For me, it's way too expensive for what it is. There are many positive elements about this when looking at it as a meal because it is healthy. Unfortunately, the cost will keep me from buying it in the future. It's worth maybe $4 a package and I'd consider at that price for a regular lunch item but definitely not $6.50.

Good texture. Nice flavor. More meal than snack.
Where to start? Texture. Most important, as rubbery noodles are gross. I cooked mine on the stove for nine minutes as directed for softer noodles. The noodle still had some chew - al dente, if you will - but was not rubbery. It was close to a 'real' noodle texture. The spice packs have a nice flavor. Spicy Beef was my favorite. I expected to like the black garlic chicken more than I did. Tom Yum shrimp flavor was okay too. I like Tom Yum, but I'm not a seafood fan. I found it edible, not something I'd get excited about. Make of that what you will. You know how you get the cheap packets of ramen at the store, microwave them, drain most of the water off, and then add the spice pack to damp noodles and it's so yum? This product doesn't really work like that. I regretted not leaving more water on my noodles first time through. I like the flavor better when there's more of a broth created. This at its most basic is meant to be a soup. They're going for actual ramen with this product. The elephant in the room. Nutrition vs price. At twenty-three carbs, this isn't much different than a pack of ramen picked up at the grocery for well under a buck. Immi brings twenty-two grams of protein to the party, significantly higher than the store brands, so there's that. These packs are not gluten free. I wasn't looking for that, just saying. The flavor packets are high in sodium, but there's no MSG listed. These don't come in a plastic cup so BPA's aren't an issue. From a nutritional standpoint, I think this product wins over the cheaper packs. Is the extra money worth it? Depends on what you're looking for. If you eat ramen once a week or more, then IMO the money is worth it due to nutrition and health concerns. I'm unsure if this is vegetarian or vegan. Packaging includes natural flavors on the ingredient list, whatever that may mean. This product makes a nice authentic-style ramen bowl, which I think was the idea. At eight bucks a packet, this isn't exactly cheap meal territory, especially when you start adding things, but it is satisfying and stays with you. If you have concerns regarding carb/protein balancing, this pretty much addresses them in the packet. If you're just looking for an easy carb rush that cooks up quick, then grab a couple cheap packets at the grocery store and enjoy them as the guilty pleasure they are.

Overall, they're okay...more like 2.5 stars, not really 3
Like many of us here, I kept seeing ads for Immi Ramen on Instagram and, like so many, I also read a ton of reviews. I finally fell for the marketing saturation and decided to give them a try—despite the price tag which caused me to pass many times before. I went for the variety pack, which includes Spicy Beef, Black Garlic Chicken, and Tom Yum Shrimp. The noodles themselves have a texture that reminds me a bit of buckwheat noodles, though they’re firmer and have more bite. They’re quite neutral in flavor and take longer than traditional ramen to soften and soak up the broth. I find that adding an extra cup of water (making it 3 cups total) while cooking for about 8 minutes helps (as I prefer some broth in my ramen bowls) as the noodles tend to absorb a lot of liquid. I was intrigued by the fact that these noodles are made from pea protein, and I have to say, the portion size is filling. I’ve been adding a soft-boiled egg, some finely chopped scallions, cilantro, and my personal touch—a generous drizzle of Bachan’s Japanese BBQ sauce (I have four varieties, LOL!) —for extra flavor. As for the flavors, here’s my breakdown: Spicy Beef: It’s decent, but not a standout for me. Black Garlic Chicken: I had high hopes for this one, but the flavor wasn’t as bold as I’d anticipated. Tom Yum Shrimp: Surprisingly, this one impressed me the most! It had the most robust flavor, with no fishy taste at all (and it’s completely vegan). Overall, while they’re okay, I can’t fully justify the cost. If they were priced closer to $4 a package, I might consider buying more. At over $6 pushing $6.50 a pop, though, it feels a little steep for pea flour noodles. The upside is that I do feel like I’m making a typically unhealthy meal a bit more nourishing, so there’s that!

Not Your Dorm Room Ramen
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered these noodles after reading the reviews. First off; let me acknowledge that they are definitely pricey! However, I try to follow a keto-friendly diet, and I experience a lot of digestive issues when I eat carbohydrates. The low carb content and natural ingredients of these noodles ultimately sold me on this purchase. I have only tried the spicy beef flavor, thus far. The size of individual package was similar to other ramen brands. Based on the recommendations of other reviewers, I opted for a longer cooking time than listed on the directions. I will opt to do this again, as a 10-13 minute cooking time resulted in noodles that were soft without being mushy. I read several reviews that these noodles are better when fried, so I set aside a small amount of the boiled and seasoned noodles to try, while I fried the remainder and added an egg. Although both versions were good, I personally preferred the boiled noodles. The texture was consistent with ramen noodles. The spicy beef seasoning was flavorful, with a bit of an expected kick to it. I did not add salt or other seasonings to the noodles, nor did they seem overly salty. The meal was filling, and the low carbohydrate content did not leave me feeling sick to my stomach. I will update as needed upon trying other flavors, but I’m pleased with this purchase so far. Yes, the price point is high, but it is less costly than ordering ramen from a restaurant, and a much healthier alternative to the popular store brands.

Yummmy!!!
Thank you for creating such a blessing for Ramen Noodle lovers who cannot have too much sodium or unhealthy additives anymore. My husband loves Asian food. But unfortunately, since 2024, he had open heart surgery. Therefore, we had not been able to eat my homemade Ramen chinese dinner. When I saw the commercial for this brand and how nutritious it is made without all the extra sodium, bad preservatives and additives, I jump on it. When I made our first Chinese Dinner in 2 years. . . All I can say is Woohoo,👍🏽😄👍🏽Delicious!!!

It’s alright, not worth the $$$
The black garlic chicken and the spicy beef are decent if you add the right ingredients to it. The beef flavor is the best in my opinion. The Tom Yum Shrimp is the weirdest noodle flavor I have ever encountered though, it doesn’t taste like shrimp at all it’s straight up lemons for whatever reason. I was eating lemonade noodles lmao. The noodles themselves are a really weird texture unless you overcook them. The cooking guide on the pack wasn’t accurate for me, it said to boil it for about 7 minutes but they were still firm and the noodles would stick together in a big ball. I had to cook them for 10-11 minutes to get them to separate and finally become chewy. The only good thing I’ll say about this brand is that I do prefer these pumpkin protein noodles over other kinds, the flavor and texture (when cooked right) is super nice, just wish there were more of them, they really don’t give you much. Overall these noodles are decent but they ARE NOT a decent price AT ALL!!! $40 for a 6 pack and $70 for 12?? $6 PER PACK!?!? That’s complete BS. It doesn’t even come with a veggie packet or anything, just a super small serving of noodles and the flavor packet. With the outrageous pricing I was expecting a mind blowing experience but this was NOT that. SOOOO disappointing. Not even worth trying unless you truly have money to throw away or can get it for free.
