It is well balanced and has adequate power. It is also pretty quiet even compared to my corded polisher. I would recommend this as a good polisher with no worries of scratching your car with the cord. Update for November 2022… I replaced the grease with a white lithium grease and the tool is probably 1/2 as noisy as the original! I was noticing there was quite a bit of noise and gear grinding after last using it, so I removed the cheap factory grease. I had an open tube of white lithium and a sealed synthetic grease, but decided to use the white lithium. It was relatively easy as it has 4 small screws to remove the counterweight and an additional 4 small screws to remove the housing which allowed me to remove the planetary great assembly. It would have been much easier, but one of the screw heads stripped and I had to grind a slot to use a flat head screw driver.
