At first it appears the play switch is faulty but it is not. First you will see some flashing dots in the window and shortly there after it will begin to play. That is mentioned in the instructions which I over looked. Works great in all regards and I am VERY pleased and highly recommend this product.

Good product. But I did not check all of the functions when I first starting using the CD Player. I only used it as A CD Player. After I had it a while I pushed the MODE button. The device went into FM radio mode and I cannot get it out of that mode. So it is going trash because there are no radio stations in my area.

Easy for my brother to use but one side of the ear buds stopped working

Put in a CD and pressed the start button. Nothing... Pressed again. Nothing... Pressed a bit harder and it started up and found the 1st track. Sound was quite good with a pair of Koss earphones on. Volume knob worked. When I started trying the other buttons (skip track, reverse, etc). I started having problems. I learned that pressing a button was a hit or miss affair. MIght work this time, most often it wouldn't. Pressing the mode button was its own adventure. Tried the FM. Radio worked fine but couldn't change channels. Big thumbs down for this. Which is too bad, because it sounded fine when I could get it to work.

Bought the CD to listen to CDs while I'm at the library - its nice and portable and does the job, love that it only uses AA batteries no worries on AC adapter or charging woes. Cons - Its not the quietest thing - you hear the motor sounds in the earphones when seeking and stopping. - The supplied earphones are cheap (Coby: you could have done better) - if you hook in better earphones you'll enjoy it much more. (good cheap cheap earphones - try JVC Gumy) It's a good inexpensive CD player but if you are looking for high quality you need to look for fancier models.

Purchased this product to play some European MP3 CDs. Excellent quality and price. Very pleased

Product was bought for a friend. They absolutely love it, say it works great.

Ease of use was great for my mother in law - she is hard of hearing and this with with of course the noise canceling headphones I got her are great for her as well

Spring from CD opener jumped out on first time of use. I was not able to put it back in.
