Q: How do you clean the hole punch tools? I can’t get the pumpkin out of them.

Sorry, I haven't used those particular tools yet. I usually use twist drills held between fingers and thumb for holes. You might try to insert a flat blade screwdriver and carefully turn it as you try to pull pumpkin out. Might work for the big one anyway. Sorry I can't be more help.

Q: Are the Carving tools with the wooden handles sharp enough to detail the pimpkin?

For the most part. I found that they do bend if you are working on a pumpkin with a a harder outer skin. I will tell you to be careful with the ones that make a hole. The larger one worked fine, but the smaller one broke with too much pressure.
