Are the materials used imported from China?

The company has imported a container from China according to US customs records. If they are not using a container full of materials to make some part of their face masks, I am not sure what they are importing. Maybe the boxes? They could be clear about it on the packaging. It was shipped from a factory that doesn't make boxes though.

How do you tighten the mask down to your face if it simply loops around your ears?

These don't loop around your ears. These have a top and bottom strap that goes around your head, one above the ears and one below.  They are a little less convenient, but they fit to the face very well, probably the best of any mask I have worn.

Do these masks provide protection against PM 2.5?

Whether we're facing a global pandemic or catastrophic wildfires causing record-setting smoke & air pollution, the differences between surgical masks, medical respirators and particulate-filtering pm2.5 masks are little-understood. N95 respirators and particulate masks with pm2.5 filters both provide excellent protection against small airborne particulates. Surgical masks and PM2.5 masks both work well against larger particulates, with less discomfort compared to the N95. When should you use one versus the others, especially when medical respirators are needed by health care providers?
N95, N99, N100 – Filters at least 95%, 99%, 99.97% of airborne particles. Not resistant to oil.
R95, R99, R100 – Filters at least 95%, 99%, 99.97% of airborne particles. Somewhat resistant to oil.
P95, P99, P100 – Filters at least 95%, 99%, 99.97% of airborne particles. Strongly resistant to oil 
PM 2.5 masks generally refer to carbon filtered masks.
 This mask is NOT carbon filtered mask of the N95 medical standard.
