i have a 16x16 open hole what door do i need?

For anyone else asking this question, look on Gerard’s website. There is a downloadable document that shows and explains the door types. If you currently have a 6 gallon tank heater, there are two sizes. If you currently have a 10 gallon tank heater, there is only one door type.

Can this be used year round in nc where outdoor temps can dip down to 0f? the inside of camper would stay heated.

Big negative on that one. We own a RV shop in MI and all it takes is a couple hours below freezing and they will crack the fitting at the flow sensor particularly the brass around the set screw breaks. Not a big deal to fix $80 for parts depending on how bad. But I digress for year round use there are vastly better options out there. (We're @ over 100 of these repairs completed)

Does it run on both electric or propane

Unit uses propane for fuel to heat water and 12 volt for control system, ignition and burner blower. 12 volt consumption is mainly blower motor when operating

Does this have a winter use device (wud) ?

As long as its operational it has an "anti-freeze" and it will kick on to warm the pipes within the unit only it won't cycle all of your system and keep it from freezing if your basement isn't heated but it will protect itself if you leave it on See the owners manual on their web site
