I love this XL Revix knee ice wrap so much I bought a second one. SO easy to use! Comfortable, flexible, gets the cold exactly where you need it. Definitely improved swelling and mobility after use. This ice wrap stays cold for the maximum 20 minute application recommended. Soft material, long straps, strong Velcro.

I saw reviews stating coldness doesn’t last long. If you need constant cold therapy maybe consider a machine. If you are wanting an ice pack for 15-30 minutes of treatment at a time, this will work well. You might find an ice back that stays cold longer but this is more than just an ice pack. I got the black XL size. I wear XL clothing in women’s and this made it entirely around my knee post knee surgery. Pros: Flexible gel pad conforms around you, lined with soft fabric, long stretchy straps with good quality velcro, stays cold for 15-30 minutes enough for 1 treatment, minimal condensation, full 360 coverage makes treatment more effective, cost for value. Cons: Sometimes I do wish the cold would last longer but I don’t think that’s possible with any gel type ice back. Also treatments aren’t for hours at a time and this tells me when time is up. I will just get a 2nd one because frankly they aren’t expensive for the quality. I would not consider this a brace as implied but you can definitely walk around with it if you need to without interrupting your cold treatment session. Pictures included of fit and instructions.

This is a very practical design, well made. The velcro straps could be stronger though and stretch too much, in my own preference. The ice pack works but it does not stay cold as long as I need probably only 10 -15 minutes. I need 40 minutes ideally, as that would mean 20 on, 20 off (with pack placed back in freezer for 20-25), then 20 more minutes of cold therapy. I am not happy it takes 4 hours to refreeze to its best coldness.

Tried many ice packs and these are the best for a total knee replacement. Freezes quickly and lasts a long time. Straps are secure and sturdy

I had a total knee replacement 3 weeks ago. At my doctor’s suggestion I bought an expensive ice machine. It was very cumbersome to use; didn’t fully wrap my entire knee; needed to be filled with ice and water; and, a few days ago, it fell off the table I kept it on and made a mess of my carpeting. I had to dry the carpet with a bad knee and it was such a hassle I only used once a day. Bought this new XL ice wrap. Perfect. Fits around my knee; simple to use; gets cold quickly and stays cold and it is so much better than the bulky ice machine. If you are having knee replacement surgery, forget the ice machine and get this. So perfect I now ice 3-4 times a day and can walk around from room to room while it is strapped on. I’m a 6’1” male and this fits my entire knee front and back. Long straps easy to secure. Sorry I spent $200 on an ice machine that wasn’t nearly as simple and effective as this simple wrap. Just what you need. XL size is perfect for a tall man. Smaller people can use the regular size. Highly recommended.

After reading multiple negative reviews, outlining the same issues, I was hesitant to buy this. I'm glad I decided to try it out anyways. Regarding Size: I saw multiple reviews claiming it didn't wrap around all the way or the straps were too short. I am 6'2" and 440lbs. This wrap only leaves about a 1 inch gap on the back, (Which I expected given the nature of my size.) My guess is that the reviewers that said it wouldn't wrap around their leg, at under 200lbs, may have been sent a small variant of this product, instead of the XL version. Regarding Coldness: I saw multiple reviews claiming it didn't get cold. I'm not sure if they didn't freeze it long enough, or if they got a defective pack, but the pack I received was cold enough to numb my skin. (It fealt great!) Regarding Duration of Coldness: I only left mine on for 20 minutes, because my doc recommended no longer due to the cold doing more harm than good, at that point. So I don't know if it would last for 40+ minutes or not, but I would never recommend leaving an ice pack on, that long, anyways, without specific instructions from your doctor to due so. Conclusion: This wrap gave me way more coverage than an average ice pack. It stayed cold for as long as I needed it, and it reduced the swelling in my knee back to normal. I love it and would absolutely recommend it.

PROS: the straps are very long and very well attached. Soft velvety fabric on the inside. The type of gel it has gets very cold. CONS: there's not enough gel. Doesn't seem like it's full. There are sections to hold the gel in place with channels between them that allows the gel to go between the sections. The gel moves away from the center under the knee cap where you need it toward the outer sections. I've tried to squeeze it back to the center but it just won't go. I have to put another ice pack under it to get cold where it's needed. Why did I pay $30 for this thing when I have to use another ice pack for it to work? Also, there is no contour to allow the knee to be bent a little. It's completely flat which makes it impossible to get it to make contact above and below the knee without bunching it and making the straps too tight. So, it's not cold where it needs to be and it's uncomfortable to wear. I'm sorry I bought it.

Ich habe mit die Kühlmanschette in den Größen "Standard und XL" bestellt. Beide machen einen guten und qualitativ ansprechenden Eindruck. Ich habe mich dann für die XL-Variante entschieden, weil die Auflagefläche größer ist und die Befestigungsbänder besser halten und sitzen. Die Kälte ist sehr angenehm und nicht aggressiv wie anderen Kühlpads. Das liegt zum einen an der großen Auflagefläche und zum andren am Fleecebezug auf der Kühlseite, was die ganze Sache schön angenehm macht. Ich bis sehr zufrieden mit der Manschette und würde sie wieder kaufen.

I got the XL size and it fits my leg perfectly. For reference, I typically wear size 12, or large size tights. The straps are really easy to handle, and long so you can wrap around more than once, and i criss cross them for best fit. If the elastic stands up, I’ll give it 5 stars in 6 months too! But, I’m on the fence about the amount of gel in it. It’s definitely comfortable, but it won’t stay up so you can walk around, so maybe it’s a bit too heavy. Or maybe I’m not doing it up tight enough and have dry skin! Anyway, it’s definitely a good product!
