Good, high-quality intermediate / advanced Yoyo set with appreciated extras (additional strings, weights, etc. to give the yoyo’s your own style and feel) – and at a decent price (£23.99 at price of review) for two yoyo’s of different styles!Was a lot of fun remembering how to use these yoyo’s and as others have pointed out it is worth noting these are “trick” yoyo’s and as such aren’t really suitable if you’re just looking for a basic yoyo / don’t know how to perform the tricks, etc (one of the first things to learn is how to string and recover the yoyo!). HOWEVER it is worth noting the yoyo’s do come with a handy instructional booklet with weblinks to videos to help you on your yoyo trickster journey – and these are beginner friendly for people who might want to learn how to do said tricks.Pros:• Two yoyo’s of different styles (responsive and unresponsive) to help you learn how to perform, and master some basic / intermediate / advanced yoyo tricks.• High quality construction – these yoyo’s will survive plenty of failed trick attempts!• Lots of accessories (strings and weights) to adjust the yoyo’s to your own personal taste.• Would make a nice gift set for someone who is into yoyo’s and tricks.• Delivery was fast and on time, box and Yoyo set came well packaged and undamaged.Cons:• Not a “basic” yoyo – not suitable for someone who just wants a throw and return yoyo.• The included gloves are a little on the small size for adults I think but would be ideal for younger teens

These are really nice yoyo's. Very well made but inappropriate for begineers. There's two types but both were hard to use. Great for people that know what they're doing.

Well, I had a little visit to a well-known video hosting channel to have a look at how to use this having opened the box and found the YoYo without string, etc attached.These are not normal basic YoYos! They're "magic" ones. A quick look at those videos will show you the incredible versatility and skill levels you can develop with these. It even has an unusual return skill required.It's a great little gift set, with the gloves, silicon rings to weight the YoYo (yes, learned that just as well...)These are not something you really just pick up and use - which is a bit disappointing in a way - but in another way, these will be awaiting a day where I feel like taking up the challenge because it does look fascinating and the videos I watched were incredible!It's only fair to award this five stars as the product should not be marked down for my lack of skill or knowledge in the area - just be aware of what you're buying!This does feel a good challenge though and I'm more looking forward to it now than before they arrived without realising what they were - if you can nail a few of those tricks, I don't care how old you are, it's going to get a wow or two!Five stars! It can;t be stressed enough that these aren't the kind of yo-yos you might remember playing with as a kid, or getting out of one of those luxury Christmas crackers. They aren't limited to just going up and down - you can learn all kinds of fancy tricks with these.Of the two, the green "responsive" yo-yo is the closest to what most of us think of as a "normal" one. It will automatically return to your hand with a jerk on the string - the black "unresponsive" one (which I haven't mastered yet!) doesn't, but it's the yo-yo of choice for pros (yes, yo-yoing pros exist!) and allows all kinds of amazing display tricks to be done. There are lots of tutorial videos on YouTube if you need help - either general ones about yo-yo tricks or specific ones related to "magic yo-yo" which show you how to set up your yo-yos, make the string the right length for you, and master basic techniques before going on to the amazing tricks - especially if you;re finding the instructions a bit hard to follow.Having said all that, the yo-yos are pricey, but feel sturdy, look great and feel smooth in use. All the yo-yo pros I've seen agree that they're great for the price, so have a great time with them - I'm earning (slowly) and my son thinks they're great!

What a great yo-yo set! After I ordered this set I started checking out everything I could about setting up yoyo's and basic tricks etc in online videos in preparation for it's arrival. The yo-yo magic brand is a premium brand in the yo-yo world. This YO-YO Magic set has two different types of yo-yo, the responsive K2 yo-yo and the unresponsive N11 yo-yo. This was all new to me, responsive returns to you, unresponsive has to interact with the string to get it to return, ie higher skill level required to use as it's a trick only yo-yo. As well as the two yo-yo's, it comes with loads of accessories, 2 gloves, 12 strings, 2 weight rings and two pouches. I've really enjoyed learning some basic tricks, (even surprised my teenage son) who was then asking me to show him how to do it. I'm looking forward to learning more tricks and progressing to the unresponsive yo-yo. I think for the price this set is great value when you consider the price of the two yo-yo's on their own along with all the accessories. It comes with instructions but also use videos online for help there are a lot of Pro's online with great videos, there's even a knack to putting the string on your yo-yo. These aren’t regular yoyo’s - these are trick yoyo’s that are ideal for beginners looking to learn.Unlike a regular yoyo, these do not come ready to use - you need to fit the strings yourself.Other than that they are pretty good quality. There’s a ton of instructional videos online that you can watch for tips and such.Probably not best for little kids, but great for older kids.
