Yes, the shirt made me sweat. I wore it during my core workout tonight. It took about five exercises to really 'feel' the sweat. I wore a quick-dry gym sleeveless shirt underneath and it was soaked when I took the jacket off. The range of motion takes a bit of getting used to though. Not sure if I'm going to 'lift' with this shirt/jacket on; I'll stick to the vest style for lifting. Don't forget folks, these are NOT for spot reducing fat (which is impossible). They do however increase the overall calories burned by your entire body. More calories burned equals more fat burned for energy. The jackets do have an odor. Not surprised really, they're essentially a SCUBA wet suit which is made of rubber. If you're one those folks that freak out on new items having an odor (I can't stomach raters that give an item one star due to a smell they don't like) , just expect it and hand wash it with your favorite utopia flowery meadow laundry soap and hang dry; get over it. Do these same people complain that the weights are too heavy while they're walking around the gym staring at their phone?

I wear medium clothes. I ordered a medium and literally couldn’t zip it up over my chest. I ordered a large, and I can get by, but it’s too small. I wear a sweat shirt over it. I’m going to order an extra large when I replace it. So add two sizes to your order. But, it’s thick, strong and has a good solid zipper that stands up to daily washing.
