Easy to fit, although would be great if there was instructions rather than a few pictures on the packaging. However very simply fitting with magnet design. We have a designer steel radiator which struggles to connect heat like an aluminium radiator. This has made such an improvement to the warmth and general comfort of the room, heats up quicker and tackled the cold spots. They are expensive for what they are but cost nothing to run and quick simple solution that works. Noise is minimal, as slight fan noise but no louder than the central heating anyway.

We installed these radiator fans in a large room with high ceilings, which is why we chose the trio set. They sit at the bottom of the radiator and actively push warm air out into the room, rather than letting it rise slowly upwards. One of the best aspects is how quiet they are. Once running, the noise is practically imperceptible, even in a quiet room, which makes them ideal for living areas or bedrooms. The magnetic fixing is also excellent, the magnets are very strong and hold the units firmly in place without any movement. The difference in room temperature is not instant, but after they’ve been running for a while you can clearly feel the heat spreading more evenly, especially in a larger space. I initially thought the fan speed would be manually adjustable, but it actually works automatically. The fans turn on and adjust themselves based on the radiator’s temperature, which in practice is very convenient as there’s nothing to set or manage. Overall, a well-designed and efficient solution if you have large rooms or high ceilings and want to improve heat circulation without added noise or complicated setup.

Purchased the three piece unit to go under my living room radiator which unfortunately has a sofa (unable to move it as it’s the only place it can go) in front blocking a lot of the heat. The unit was really easy to install and the thermostat works well. Noise levels are negligible, a very slight whirring but you cannot hear anything if the tv is on. When on, I can feel the air pushed up through the radiator, the fans are not super strong but you can feel a gentle breeze of hot air from the top. For us it’s perfect as takes the hot air over the sofa so am very happy with the results. The only sticking point is the price which is a little steep for what is a simple fan with a thermostat regulator and whilst it does feel a good quality product, realistically it should be around half the price for what it is.

These fans are excellent! They are fitted to the bottom of a radiator and push the heat out of the top. They are simple to fit together and are plug and play. The fan units have magnets which attach to the radiators. [Do clean the middle of the radiator first or the room may have dust flying about for a while]. This is my second set and they work extremely well and quickly. They operate only when the radiator has reached 30°C and they push the heat around the rooms very quickly. Yes, you can hear the fans [the Duo Set has six fans] but they are quiet. The price is very reasonable, especially as the cost of running the fans is very low across the year. In all, these fans are a great add-on to any household. I heartily recommend them.

Easy to fit but underwhelming performance. Can't say the fans have made any noticeable increase to the heat in the room for the price.

Improved the efficiency of a radiator which was struggling to heat up our living room. The fan improved the flow of warm air from the radiator making it much more effective and the room warmer. The auto temperature on/off mechanism is also a great idea so it only works when the heating is on. The only downside is that there is a low but noticeable fan noise when in operation.

Bought to improve output from a (roughly) 1800mm wide radiator dating from the 1970s that has two panels but a very narrow width and no interior fins, so hopelessly ineffective. This set of fans has worked very well: considerably improved convection so the room feels much warmer - and more quickly- but quiet in operation and the thermostat ensures that when the radiator cools down cold air isn't blowing around the room. The range of adjustment for the supporting magnets is very good and their strength combined with the light weight of the fan unit enabled mounting to a radiator with very small flanges. They aren't cheap but appear to be very well-made and work well.

I recently bought a 'mono' kit, to see whether the noise would be a problem. I first installed it on a narrow (type 21) radiator, and needed an adaptor kit - and then when installed, the speedcomfort hung just below the radiator. When in that particular configuration, I was a bit worried about the noise - but when also installing under a larger type 22 radiator, the noise seemed muffled but the radiator and we quickly got used to the background whirring. Even with only a mono kit on a large (90cm) radiator, we noticed a difference - the room definitely felt warmer. So we bit the bullet and bought a double set, which is now installed in the same radiator (90cm, type 22) and the noise is the same (I'd expected it to be a little louder, but apparently it's not). Even with just the one device, the room was noticably warmer and more comfortable - so with 2 daisy-chained together, I'm confident that the radiator output will be improved further. The background noise would bother me overnight if this were running in a bedroom, but it's fine in our lounge where there's normally a TV on or some music playing, or at the very least a laptop will be running. The noise IS noticable - there's no escaping that fact: these things are NOT silent. To me it sounds no louder the the fans on my NAS, and is easily overcome by music playing at any level or any TV program. I've set our up to run from a smart plug - so if we want to have a film night with no background noise *at all* then I can just turn the fans off from my phone. Otherwise we're prepared to put up with the slight background noise in return for a much warmer lounge. (Note: this is after having thoroughly cleaned/dusted between the convector panels - removing dust and cobwebs should be a first step, before you'd see the full benefit of the speedcomfort). I've dropped a star because none of mine (neither this double set, or the mono kit I bought) turn off when the temperature drops. The kits come with a thermostat which is supposed to switch the fans off when the measured temperature gets below around 20 degrees. So far neither of my kits have automatically shut down while we've been in the room, and I don't know how cold the rads need to be before the thermostats shut off the fans. They're a bit pricey, but I'm very pleased with the result.
